Cheapjewels/Lynx IRL Musique Deux finalists of the iNOUïS of the Printemps de Bourges, two artists from a new Belgian and French scene who blur the boundaries between rap, electronic music, and alternative cultures. Cheapjewels and Lynx IRL share the same freedom of tone, an intense stage energy, and a very personal way of telling the world, bodies, flaws, and angers. Between commitment, self-mockery, and raw sincerity, they embody a musical generation that is curious, hybrid, and deeply current. Based in Brussels, Cheapjewels develops an emo, digital, and abrasive rap, crossed by glitches, saturated basses, and a sensitivity on edge. In her lyrics, she raps a battered humanity, the seum, losses, disappeared friendships, and this necessity to still look for a little light. Her concerts take on the appearance of electric, uncomfortable, and sincere ceremonies, where fragility becomes a strength. Résidente du Botanique and on the bill of the iNOUïS 2026, she released in 2025 the mixtape les introvertixs bz le monde. She is currently preparing i<3 PUNTA CANA, a nine-track project co-composed with producer and rapper Linton, between new trap, cloud rap, and digicore. A Lille rapper influenced by UK sounds, rave music, and the video game soundtracks of her childhood, Lynx IRL navigates between Breakbeat, Jungle, Trap, Juke, Footwork, and jazz chords. She mixes the codes of hip-hop and club culture to build an alternative, nervous, and unpredictable music. With her mischievous tone, she makes her commitments, contradictions, and anxieties resonate, between adolescent insolence and adult lucidity. On stage, Lynx IRL deploys a raw energy: a tornado from the North who is not content to rap, but transforms each live into a vibrant, physical, and shared moment.
