Sad Boys Klub is a four-piece band from Ghent that dresses the eighties in a shoegaze jacket with great pleasure. Think: the shadows of Joy Division and Bauhaus dancing hand in hand with DIIV and bdrmm. The result? Dark, melodious, and just dirty enough to remain exciting. They float somewhere between raw intensity and danceable melancholy. Music for those who want to stare at their shoes, but still can't stand still. With dissonant guitars, tight rhythms, and deadpan vocals, they build a sound that cuts, chafes, and is surprisingly addictive at the same time. Sad Boys Klub consists of Thomas Seynhaeve (vocals, guitar), Gilles Dierickx (bass, backing vocals), Gilles van De Vijver (guitar, backing vocals), and Lucas Vanmeerhaeghe (drums). Plexi Stad is a freshly formed four-piece wave outfit from Antwerp. They bring a fresh perspective to the music scene with their circular, biting post-punk sound. Their music balances between boundless energy and angular extravagance, characterized by crawling hooks, tightly wound rhythms, and the poetic punk talent of singer Peleman.
