The Heysel Plateau and the World Fairs

This guided tour sets out to discover the relics of the two World’s Fairs that took place at the Heysel. The Heysel still boasts fine examples of the development of modern architecture in Brussels. Palais 5, the Kortrijk Roof Tile Office pavilion, the Atomium… all bear witness to the daring experiments and dreams of modernity in the 20th century. NB: the tour on 9 August will be a bilingual tour (Dutch + English)
