Artur Fernandes, Filipe Cal, Filipe Ricardo and Francisco Miguel are each intertwined with their instrument. With the sound of the diatonic accordion, a sound that they approach originally and deepen with verve, this quartet seduces and amazes the audience all over the world. Their impressionistic folk has deep roots in Portuguese folk music, tango nuevo, classical music and jazz. In 2012, Danças Ocultas reaped success on numerous Belgian stages with Alento, concerts that are etched in many people's memories. In April 2025 they did it again during the pre-release tour of Inspirar. The long-awaited tenth album Inspirar, this time produced by Gabriel Gomes, was released by Galileo Music on May 23, 2025 and immediately reached the top 10 of the European World Music Charts.
