Walking on the site and in the historic Bijloke Abbey, you step into the shoes of the sisters who once worked and lived here. And that during the Gentse Feesten 2026! Discover the magic of the Bijloke site and abbey and let yourself be carried away to the world of caring sisters, strong women. 'Ora et labora' and caritas. These women left worldly life, but at the same time were right in the middle of it. A story about obedience and rebellion, care and boss ladies avant la lettre.
