Every choice tips the balance
With the help of a spiral, the three artists of TeaTime Company explore themes such as influence, power, flow, and friction. The spiral allows them to push their boundaries.
While the large spiral of no less than 2.5m high rolls in an endless circle across the stage, the artists face constant challenges. They are forced to anticipate and react to the movement of the metal wheel, which sometimes seems to obey and at other times seems to have a will of its own. At any moment, the situation can change due to an unexpected movement of the spiral and performer.
