HOW, a silent walk - Michelle Adriaense in collaboration with Ilse Strobbe / KAAP

Become part of a silent walk along the coast of Ostend, accompanied by visual artist Michelle Adriaense and healer–therapist Ilse Strobbe, created on the occasion of the Langste Dag at KAAP. In silence, you move together along the tide line, connected by small objects: what the sea left behind, what someone carries, what was carefully made. These 'objets trouvés' grow into personal signs, light sculptures of memories and thoughts. While walking, we let go of what became too heavy and we carry what nourishes. From a distance, a slow, slightly absurd procession of people unfolds, connected by ropes, branches, and bundles. A living caravan that evokes echoes of travel, departure, and carrying, a poetic, collective image of vulnerability and connection.
