The Muinkmeersen from the 19th to the 21st century

A walk with Paul Van Houtte Het Zuid and by extension Sint-Anna is an area of meadows between the two Scheldt rivers, just outside the city center of Ghent. With the arrival of the industrial revolution, this neighborhood was developed: an industrial site, a residential area, a traffic hub for rail and car, an entertainment district, and recently a recreational area with green islands.
