CircusMolen – Family day at the Beddermolen Op Sunday, August 16, the Zomerbar turns into a bustling circus festival for the whole family. Enjoy circus, street theater, live music, workshops, and surprising animation in the unique setting of the Beddermolen. Program: 14:00 – 19:00 | Jims Jim – In Eigen Nat Een crazy sports installation where children playfully discover their strength, speed, and imagination. Expect, among other things, water fountains, soap bubbles, and hilarious sports trials. Continuous | Werelds Kleinste Circus Een interactive mobile circus animation where the audience determines which artists and tricks appear. From jugglers and clowns to acrobats and lion tamers: anything is possible. 15:00 | Circusinitiatie Locorotondo Zelf into the ring? During this accessible workshop, young and old discover their circus talent with various circus disciplines. 15:30 | Annabella Bubble Show Stap into a magical world full of giant soap bubbles, shimmering colors, and playful wonder. Annabella provides a continuous enchanting bubble show, cheerful animation, and a workshop in which children can make the most beautiful bubbles themselves. A dreamy moment for young and old! 16:00 | Estallido Locorotondo Een energetic seesaw performance full of acrobatics, somersaults, and spectacular jumps by up-and-coming circus talent from the region. 16:15 and 18:00 | Fanfaar Fatal Een danceable Balkan Brass Band full of energy and humor, with influences from gypsy, klezmer, jazz, and latin. 17:30 | Detour Een surprising family performance full of humor, tension, cabaret, and unique stunts. Bruno, Amour, and their son transform the grounds into their stage. Tickets: €8 in presale and €10 on-site. UiTPAS discount rate is valid. 19:00 | Rik Mercelis Live Een atmospheric musical closing with acoustic versions of classics, one-hit wonders, and timeless songs by, among others, Prince, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, and The Beatles.
