Piano concert: Alexander Van Britsom

We love making room for home-grown talent. Alexander Van Britsom, a 23-year-old pianist from Basel, obtained his master's degree in classical piano at the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Antwerpen, where he studied with, among others, Nikolaas Kende and Roberto Giordano. He started piano at the age of six at the Basel Music Academy and participated in competitions such as the Steinway Competition and Cantabile from an early age. The young Basel native treats us to music by, among others, Johann Sebastian Bach, Rachmaninoff, and Percy Grainger.
