Jazz/world music with Irish roots. A voice that goes straight to the heart. With a crystal-clear voice, poetic lyrics, and strong songs, Natashia Kelly grabs you by the throat every time. As a singer-songwriter, she earned her spurs with her previous album ‘Dear Darkening Ground’. The music of her new album dives into feelings for which there are no words. “In a world where rationality prevails, feelings and emotions threaten to be suppressed” (quote Nick Cave). But there is beauty and hope! With her music, she wants to be a witness of our time. The voice and strings touch the feelings but are carried by a propelling rhythm. Lyrics are interwoven in music. She surrounds herself with top musicians who have already proven their excellence throughout their careers: Dré Pallemaerts (drums), Yannick Peeters (double bass), and Benjamin Sauzereau (guitars & electronics).
