Palestine Islands | Film, debate and meal

FREE limited places: 50 people — reservation recommended. Le Vaartkapoen and Cinemaximiliaan are organizing a free screening at Bruxelles de Palestine Islands. The film tells the story of Maha, one of the last children of a generation of Palestinian refugees in the Balata camp. When her blind grandfather falls ill, she imagines a bold plan: to make him believe that a return to his homeland is possible. After the screening, we invite the public to a collective reflection on the film and the current situation in Palestine, in an open and respectful setting. The evening will be accompanied by a Palestinian meal, as a moment of meeting and exchange.
