INSTANT HAPPINESS MUSIC IS COMING FROM OUR GARDEN

COPPERLINE is the new musical side project of RALPH BONTE (frontman of HIDEAWAY). Copperline is an AMERICANA band with five members from the Bruges music scene, supplemented by one beauty from Ghent. The song "for the sake of the song" by Townes van Zandt inspired the band to get to work with it. Everything is in service of the song, nothing more, nothing less. AMERICANA is a collective name for many different styles, generally derived from authentic country, folk, blues, and roots music. The music of The Band, Gram Parsons, Townes van Zandt, Bonnie Raiit, Emylou Harris, The Eaglse, etc., is mentioned as an important influence on Americana. Copperline plays songs by all these artists, but "some unusual suspects" also grace the setlist. An evening of "Pure blood" for fans of this genre...
