Experience an evening full of virtuosity, emotion, and color! Het Neretva Ensemble, under the direction of Bart Van Casteren, brings a unique concert program that unites three musical worlds. We open with Carnival of Venice, a breathtaking spectacle piece in which our trumpet soloist Evan Schreiber pulls out all the stops. This is followed by a selection of timeless film music, including from 'La vita è bella' and 'Mary Poppins', a musical tribute to the power of love, hope, and imagination. We conclude the evening with an explosion of Bohemian melodies and pure joy of life. From intimate lyricism to festive grandeur: Dvořák's Symphony No. 8 leaves no one untouched.
