Francisco Javier López García is connected as an organist to the cathedral of Ávila, and teaches both at the Katholieke Universiteit of Ávila and at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música in the same city. He followed his organ training at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música in Madrid under the guidance of Anselmo Serna and Miguel del Barco. As a soloist, he performs throughout Europe, and he released several CDs promoting the historical organs of Castile and León. We get to hear music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Jesús Guridi, Isabel Prota, Tomás Garbizu and Denis Bédard.
