Week 6 of Parkies Sint-Niklaas 2026 with a class act of stature: The iconic soul phenomenon Paul Michiels proves at 77 that his legendary, warm, and lived-in voice has lost none of its power and effortlessly performs his Soulsister world hit 'The Way to Your Heart', but also his rock-solid solo classics. Location: Romain De Vidtspark, Sint-Niklaas, free admission. "Doors", bar, and snacks open from 7 p.m., program usually starts at 8 p.m. Parkies 2026 takes place in Sint-Niklaas on July 7, 14, 21, and 28 and August 4, 11, and 18. Despite the economically more difficult times, the organizers have, thanks to the indispensable cooperation of the local authorities, volunteers, sponsors, and artists, once again succeeded in keeping ‘the biggest smallest festival in Flanders’ completely free. As a result, an estimated 300,000 people can once again enjoy special concerts and musical evenings close to home this summer, in a green environment provided with a snack and a drink.
