All summer every Friday evening a free double concert in the garden of Ensemble. Laurent Laenen • 7 PM cabaret, Dutch-language Laurent writes about the tragically mundane, always with a wink but also with a sharp eye for what really counts. His music is honest and pure. JACOBA CLARA • 8 PM cabaret, Dutch-language Jacoba Clara is a theatrical cabaret/singer-songwriter from Antwerp. As a small and then still shy child, she started as a classical piano nerd, which later resulted in a writer striving for individuality. Thanks to her problematic childhood and large amount of mommy issues, she has eternal inspiration to bring her stories—with enough self-mockery. In case of announced rain, the concert will take place under the canopy of the courtyard or inside. The concerts are free, but a voluntary contribution in the hat for the artists is welcome.
