In ‘The Quintets Edition’, two masterpieces from the quintet repertoire are highlighted that at first glance seem to be each other's opposites. Mozart's widely known clarinet quintet radiates youthful and playful charm, while Schumann's piano quintet is imbued with romantic depth and duality. It promises to be a chamber music concert on the edge of the knife where the musicians go in search of the contrasts and similarities between these well-known quintets.
