Groot Feest in the garden

On June 12 and 13, 2026, Groot Feest in den Hof returns to the rectory garden of Wilsele. After the great success of previous years, with a turnout of hundreds of visitors of all ages, the beautiful rectory garden once again forms the backdrop for the third edition. It will be an open and accessible neighborhood festival where everyone is welcome, with two days full of activities, live music, and atmosphere. The program focuses on meeting, creativity, and togetherness. Local musicians and bands perform and get their chance on the open stage. There are dance performances and short lectures on the history of Wilsele. The pétanque tournament is also returning, for those who want to try their luck again! The younger generation of Wilsenaars has also been thought of with an extensive range of activities including a bouncy castle, circus corner, folk games, face painting, and giant soap bubbles. Furthermore, visitors can participate in workshops such as craft activities and screen printing. The flea market also returns, temporarily turning the rectory garden into a lively village square. Registration for the flea market is mandatory and can be done above by clicking the blue 'Register' button! The party will be concluded with a fire show. For this third edition, we are again looking for residents who want to participate actively, artistically or organizationally, in a neighborhood festival that is fully supported for and by the neighborhood. Musicians, dancers, artists, and creative doers get a stage in their own village. Those who prefer to help behind the scenes are also very welcome.
