An ode to the storytellers. People have always told each other stories. To understand the world, not to forget, and to pass on life lessons. In Amadou follows Aminata Demba in the footsteps of West African storytellers and crawls into the skin of a child with many questions. Her search for answers results in a lively adventure, in which she also discovers herself. Amadou is a swirling, musical road trip, inspired by orally transmitted West African fairy tales and the work of the Malian writer Amadou Hampâté Bâ.
