Documentation trip of Madame Anita Conti

In 1952, Anita Conti embarked for six months on board a trawler that traveled the Atlantique Nord in search of cod. She shared the grueling daily life of the sailors during this long campaign. Equipped with her cameras and her video camera, she documented the work gestures, fatigue, and solidarity on board. Her notebooks and images compose a sensitive narrative that testifies to the immersion of the first French oceanographer woman in an exclusively male environment, where men's bodies are put to the test.
