shou is a local events-discovery platform for Brussels and Belgium. For hotels, we provide a branded AI concierge — a web page that recommends nearby events, activities, and things to do to the hotel's guests, in the guest's own language. This is a business-to-business (B2B) software service; the hotel remains responsible for its own guest relationships and recommendations.

3 Subscriptions & Pricing

The hotel AI concierge is offered on a subscription basis, consisting of a one-time setup fee and a recurring monthly fee. The fees that apply to you are those shown on our pricing page at shou.be/hotels/pricing at the time you subscribe, or as otherwise confirmed in writing in your order.

All prices are exclusive of VAT; Belgian VAT at the applicable rate (currently 21%) is added to every invoice. Founding-partner or other promotional terms, where offered, may vary or waive the setup fee and will be confirmed in writing. We may update our pricing from time to time; any change takes effect from your next billing period and is reflected on the pricing page.

4 Billing & Payment

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Mollie. Recurring payments are collected by SEPA Direct Debit.

• At sign-up, the hotel completes a first payment (via Bancontact) that settles the setup fee and authorises a SEPA Direct Debit mandate.
• The monthly subscription fee is then collected automatically by SEPA Direct Debit on each billing cycle, for as long as the subscription is active.
• A VAT invoice is issued for each payment.
• The hotel is responsible for maintaining sufficient funds and a valid mandate. If a collection fails, we may retry it and may suspend the Service until payment is received.

5 Term, Renewal & Cancellation

The subscription is month-to-month and renews automatically each month until cancelled. Either party may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period, by written notice to hotels@shou.be. On cancellation, recurring collection stops and the hotel's concierge page is deactivated. Fees already paid for the current period are not pro-rated.

6 Refunds

The one-time setup fee covers work performed to build and configure the hotel's concierge and is non-refundable once that work has begun. Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable for periods already billed. Nothing in this section affects any mandatory statutory rights that apply.

7 Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorisation, scrape it at scale, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.

8 Availability & Warranties

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but event information comes from third-party sources and may contain errors or gaps. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9 Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ABSS Analytics is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees paid by the hotel in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under Belgian law.

10 Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the GDPR. Payment and mandate data are handled by Mollie under its own terms and privacy policy.

11 Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify subscribers. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply.
