RIP YOUR EARDRUMS A great success of last season, the play carried by Julie Duroisin (awarded the Maeterlinck prize for interpretation!) and Achille Ridolfi makes its big comeback. Here are the conditions of the disaster: the pianist Cosme Mac Moon (Achille Ridolfi) retraces the destiny as strident as it is improbable of Florence Foster Jenkins, a rich American heiress who became famous by improvising as a coloratura soprano and by mistreating the most famous arias of the classical repertoire. Vocal approximations, costumes not recommended for epileptics: we will say modestly that we have put horses down for less than that. The diva "who sang divinely out of tune" finds here all her excess in a show as funny as it is touching, which has won unanimous support and takes the audience on a real roller coaster of emotions.
