Oriental dance Event

Oriental dance

Wed, 16 Sept 2026 · 18:30
GC Ten Noey, Brussels
This dance style is characterized by graceful and fluid movements, the art of "isolation" (moving different parts of the body separately), and powerful hip movements. Oriental dance is suitable for people of all ages. It helps make your body powerful and flexible, and especially strengthens your abdominal and back muscles. But most importantly, it is extremely fun. Although there are not many male oriental dancers, there are still a few who are very talented and well-known, like our teacher Serkan. He will be happy to teach you the difference between Egyptian and Turkish oriental dance styles and introduce you to playful Shaabi choreographies, graceful veil dances, or a joyful "Turkish Romani Dance". From Wednesday, September 16, 2026, to Wednesday, June 9, 2027. From 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM: Group 1, technique and sequences. From 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM: Group 2, choreography. Price: €110 / 10 lessons (€10 discount if you participate in both classes). Free trial lesson possible on Wednesday, September 16. Registration: info@serkan.be
