Pop, the new front door is a fact for ace comedian An Nelissen: she has passed the age of seventy! That immediately means that she has also been on stage for fifty years, and so it is a reason for a double celebration. Want An is happy that she is still alive and intends to do so for a long time to come. That is why, on the occasion of her anniversary, she likes to look to the future. Because with so much past, you otherwise risk forgetting that there is still a future! And so An is throwing a party for her audience! With seventy years of life on the counter, An thought she had collected enough life wisdom to be able to undergo life calmly. Nothing could be further from the truth. In this show, she therefore wants to look ahead. When she receives a letter from a seven-year-old who asks her a number of pertinent questions, all hell breaks loose. With the help of the audience, she tries to answer the questions and get a glimpse of the future, even if it is becoming shorter and shorter for her. An Nelissen has been a fixture as a solo performer in Flemish halls for more than thirty years. After countless roles in theater and television, she established her name as a comedian and always attracts a loyal audience to the halls with her productions (e.g., Vagina Monologues, Menopause Monologue, Men's Monologue, Happiness Monologue). By some, she is called the “great mother” of Flemish comedy!
