He built and supported various companies and ecosystems, including BeCentral in Brussels, and numerous startups. In addition, he was, among other things, chairman of iMinds (now imec) and of the European news company EURACTIV Media (now part of Mediahuis). Today he is the founder of Genisys and active within the European Innovation Council, where he works on the next wave: artificial intelligence and the future of European technology.
