Minos by Matthieu Epp, between mythological narrative and collaborative video game

Sun, 8 Nov 2026 · 15:00–16:30
Les Dimanches du conte, Brussels
€8–12
To bring the story of the Minotaur back to life, author Luvan delved into archaeological sources and discovered fragments of stories featuring the Minotaur from the perspective of the inhabitants of Crete, the defeated. On this basis, she imagined the story with Minos, a power-hungry man, but also Pasiphaë and Ariadne, two powerful goddesses. Matthieu Epp has been storytelling for about fifteen years. After studying computer science and a background in popular education, he forged his tools through encounters and disciplines (music, dance, object theater, improvisation). He presents his shows throughout the Francophonie (France, Belgium, Quebec, etc.) both on theater stages and in storytelling festivals, media libraries, retirement homes, and schools. His repertoire ranges from mythology to science fiction, with a fondness for traditional storytelling and life narratives.
