Against the backdrop of an impending bankruptcy due to the arrival of a large bookstore chain, a small independent bookstore offers a refuge to young people with a reading list, a writer with writer's block, and those lost in life and love. Vitrine is a performance about steadfastness and comfort and about how the power of literature can be greater than you think. What if all our lives are being written right now? A play with a brand-new theater text that does not shy away from the grand gesture. An ode to the genre of the romantic comedy and a plea for the book trade.
