Indian Summer - Kompeltoer

The only walk in the Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen where nature, mining past, and a fresh Kompel come together. Beneath the sleek hills and vistas of Terhills, the story of the old mine of Eisden still hides. It closed in the late 1980s, but the traces and strong stories never disappeared. During this tour, a Ranger takes you along that past. Not a long walk, but one with a sturdy climb, and along the way you get the stories you might not have known yet. The walk ends in the National Park Visitor Center with a tasting of Kompel beers. The past flavored by the Ranger and with a view of the headframe, that will taste like more! Reserveren Verplicht.
