Reveil

On November 1st, with Reveil we are bringing a concert of comfort to one of the cemeteries of Lokeren. In the soft glow of falling evening, we gather at the municipal cemetery Bleekmeers for a subdued tribute to those we must miss. Through music and poetry, performed by students of Kunstacademie Ter Beuken, we want to make space for remembrance, connectedness, and quietness. Reveil is not a classical concert, but a silent gesture, an encounter between art and farewell, between life and loss. The sounds and words are carefully chosen to offer comfort and cast a warm light on cherished memories. We invite you to pause, literally and figuratively, with us for our loved ones. This special occasion offers not only a moment of reflection, but also a gentle reason to experience the cemetery in a different way: as a place of peace, of stories, of love that remains. Reveil takes place on November 1st between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM at the municipal cemetery Bleekmeers. Everyone is welcome.
