Guided tour: Slow looking at art

Slow down. Look longer. See more. FOMU invites you to a guided tour of the expos. During this workshop, you consciously take the time to really look. Without haste or distraction. Together with a guide, you linger at a single photo for a few minutes. Afterward, you engage in a conversation—through simple questions—about what you see and experience. You can participate actively or just listen. Everyone looks differently. That is precisely what makes this guided tour so special. You do not need any prior knowledge. Using Visual Thinking Strategies—a conversation method that starts from what you see yourself—the guide facilitates the conversation. By slowly looking together, you discover new details, thoughts, and perspectives. Each session focuses on different works in the ongoing exhibitions. Want to know more?
