De Poesjenellentheater for Volwassenen
In in this sparkling performance you will finally discover how the legendary friends Neus, Schele, and Bult met each other. What begins as a simple story soon grows into an exciting and comical adventure. Bultje has a daughter of about ten years old. At the same time, the old count has a son who... well, is out of proportion. Enormously big, a bit strange, and sometimes downright unpredictable. Ten years later, Neus and Schele cross paths with Bultje again. Then they hear the shocking news: his daughter was kidnapped by none other than Lange Wapper! Determined to help their friend, Neus and Schele promise to save the girl from the clutches of this notorious Antwerp giant.
What follows is a crazy adventure full of misunderstandings, witty dialogues, and delicious folk humor. De Antwerpse rag dolls show themselves from their best side with broad Antwerp dialect, sometimes just on the edge (and occasionally over it), but always with charm and never vulgar. An authentic evening of Antwerp puppet theater as it should be: lively, relatable, and irresistibly funny.
