The truth

"A game of lies and truth", that is how you could describe the play. What is that, the truth? Even philosophers have not yet received an answer to this complex question. No wonder that Michel does not take the truth very seriously. In any case, lying to his best friend Paul, that he does not do. He just does not tell him the truth, and so he hides that he is having an affair with his wife Alice. He also does not think he is lying, when he tells his wife that he has to leave for work, while he is actually going out with Alice. Michel juggles the truth as well as possible to avoid conflicts. Alice, however, gets feelings of guilt and wants to confess everything to her husband Paul. Michel tries to convince her that it would be selfish to burden him with the truth. On the contrary, hiding the truth from him would be a proof of love. But soon the Casanova experiences firsthand that one is better off without those kinds of "proofs of love"! A handsome, sophisticatedly written comedy with a dialogue full of punchlines and filled with new and surprising twists. Every time you think you are hearing the truth, it is turned upside down, so that you hold your breath until the surprising ending!
