Jijé has multiple talents! Comic strip illustrator, Joseph Gillain (1914-1980) is also a painter, coppersmith, sculptor, and engraver.
La Mpmm, in partnership with the Province de Namur - Cultural Heritage Department, invites you to (re)discover the diversity of his work, centered on his \"Dinant\" years (ca. 1935-1945) since Jijé lived in Bouvignes as well as in Dinant. It was therefore obvious that the \"Spanish House\", painted several times by Jijé, had to open its doors to a selection of his creations.
De Spirou to Don Bosco, from family portraits to the first issues of the famous magazine \"Moustique\", from Gedinne to Dinant, from Maredsous to Bouvignes, come and meet the brilliant Jijé.
