Dat Isabelle A fixed value in the Flemish music landscape is something we have known for a long time. But that her heart beats in two languages, the general public only really discovered in 2024 when she stood in sold-out halls with Isabelle à La Française, a bullseye. This tour was a logical next step after her impressive passage in ‘Liefde voor Muziek’ in 2017. Her performance of ‘Dormir en Cuillère’, a French translation of ‘Lepeltjesgewijs’ by Bart Peeters, struck a chord with TV-loving Flanders. That love later received a sequel on the radio, where Isabelle brought French pearls weekly in the morning program Sven & Anke on Joe. Her interpretations of, among others, ‘Le Vent Nous Portera’ and a French version of ‘Onderweg’ (Abel) made a deep impression. Now there is a sequel. A new series of concerts, a new musical chapter. But always with the same passion and love for the French song.
