Vincent Voeten only started with comedy in 2016, but managed to distinguish himself very quickly. De Kempische police inspector with a penchant for black humor and a razor-sharp pen draws his inspiration from greats such as Jimmy Carr and Anthony Jeselnik. His style? Bone-dry stories, hard oneliners, and a solid portion of dark jokes. In 2017, he made it to the final of the Lunatic Comedy Award and won the Utrechtse Comedy Talent Award, the largest stand-up competition in the Netherlands. After that, things went fast: he was picked up by Jens Dendoncker, toured as Young One with Michael Van Peel, and played in the opening act of Alex Agnew. In 2022, he crowned himself winner of the 13th edition of Humo’s Comedy Cup. At the award ceremony, Guy Mortier spoke about 'the toughest final in years'. Vincent won with his bone-dry humor from Jade Mintjens and Charles Le Riche. In 2023, his first full-length performance SMAAD premiered. With this show, he toured successfully through Flanders for two seasons. Joost Vandecasteele stopped stand-up comedy after a tour in the Netherlands and a selection for the Theater Festival. He became the author of several books (including "Massa", "Hoe de wereld perfect functioneert zonder mij" and "Verlos ons van het kwaad") and television series (such as "Generatie B", "Exen" and "We moeten eens praten"), for which he received multiple awards and nominations. After ten years, he is back. Not yet finished talking or raging, ready to share his unique view of the world with an audience. This is comedy as an experience, aimed at the heart, head, and stomach. Joost Vandecasteele makes only one promise, it won't be boring. Such top talents deserve an announcement to say 'you' to, and who can do that better than our house joker?
