Christmas concert brought by WEST RIM FOLK and organized by Davidsfonds Ingelmunster, Gezinsbond Ingelmunster and the Parochie St. Amand Ingelmunster West Rim is a family band with relatives from France and Germany. Their songs are lively, honest and optimistic, which automatically makes you want to hum or sing along. Their first album 'Cross' is a beautiful mix of folk and indie, which reflects their narrative style well. During this concert, they bring a selection of cheerful and moving Christmas melodies. Their singing together causes goosebumps and the original sound colors of instruments such as the Flemish bagpipes, diatonic accordion, nyckelharpa and guitar, make the whole thing complete. You will be able to sing along with the well-known tones of 'Falalala' or enjoy their popular version of 'O Come Emmanuel'. In addition, they bring arrangements of early medieval Advent songs, the a cappella song 'Gaudete' and the moving 'Un enfant nous est né', sung by Amelken together with her husband Celin.
