Stoop Kid & Lip Service | Lichtcultuur, Tielt

STOOP KIDStoop Kid is the indie-rock project of Diestenaar Jens Rubens. Two years after the release of his second full album 'Mount Cope', he is completely back with his new album 'Office Overdue' which was released in February 2026 via On The Level. Expect sunny slacker rock that fans of Mac Demarco and Pavement will lick their thumbs and fingers for.LIP SERVICE The indie-pop group around Hannah and Kasper Cornelus (Flip Kowlier, Het Zesde Metaal), Roel Deplancke (Lézard) and Mathijs Steels (SHHT, Ciska Ciska) released their second full-length album 'Swalman' in February 2026. Lip Service does something fresh with indie-pop. Their songs are light, danceable, and easy to sing along to, but reveal more treacherous turns and a deep melancholy with every listen. Influences from half of pop history crash into each other without ever coming fully into focus: Lip Service sounds mostly like itself. Fans van Talking Heads, Deerhoof, The Van Jets, Pixies, XTC and Dirty Projectors better not miss this concert!
