Reveil

On October 31 (Markegem) & November 1 (Oeselgem) 2026, Reveil will take place for the second time in Dentergem. This subdued, warm event brings people together to commemorate loved ones in silence and serenity. Extra lighting is provided at the 4 cemeteries in Markegem, Dentergem, Oeselgem and Wakken to create an atmosphere of connection and comfort. With a performance by brass2you on November 1, the reading of the names of the deceased and the recitation of some poems.
