Steven Goegebeur

The teddy bear of comedy shows his teeth… and his warm heart. He is sometimes called the teddy bear of comedy, but don't be fooled: a bear with a warm heart has teeth too. Steven's newest show Unlucky Bird is a rollercoaster of emotions, in which personal loss becomes a source of inspiration. Every low point, the first step to a new high. Every setback, a new chance. An 'Unlucky Bird' with resilience! You laugh. You swallow. You laugh again. One thing is certain, after this show you will head home with aching abdominal muscles from laughing, a few insights richer, a broad smile on your face and perhaps — very perhaps — with the feeling that you too, despite everything, are a 'Lucky Bird' after all. The happiness consists in one being an unlucky bird and yet feeling happy. (Ramón Gómez de la Serna) www.stevengoegebeur.be
