This drama takes place in early 17th-century Germany and follows a woman who has fought as a man in the army for years. She arrives in a remote, strictly Protestant village and claims to be the rightful heir of an abandoned farm. She is forced to continue living disguised as a man to enjoy the freedoms and rights that at the time were reserved exclusively for men. A critical film about a patriarchal society with a gripping acting performance by Sandra Hüller! Markus Schleinzer - Germany - 94 minutes
