For no less than 45 years, Jean Bosco Safari has been on stage. On the occasion of this anniversary, he created a musical, poignant, and surprisingly funny performance together with his pianist Steven Mintjens: Enkele Reis België. This is the life story of Jean Bosco Safari, son of a Tutsi mom and a white mining engineer, whose life took a completely different turn in a single snap of a finger. The story, where music forms the backdrop, is brought with a respectful lightness by master storyteller Jean Bosco Safari himself. His storytelling is sometimes gripping, then again humorous.
