Impro + Stand Up Comedy with Meeuw Roovers

Twice a month The Lunatics occupy the stage of Djingel Djangel! You will enjoy Impro comedy before the intermission: short improvisation scenes with funny players. Each time they invite a comedian who is on stage after the intermission. This time that is northern neighbor Meeuw Roovers! PART I Impro comedy with The Lunatics! Our four players are trained in speed, wit, and humor. They jump onto the stage unprepared: armed with your suggestions, they create an unforgettable evening! PART II We give the stage to a stand-up comedian. This week we share the stage with northern neighbor Meeuw Roovers. Meeuw Roovers Meeuw Roovers is a comedian and theater maker who makes you laugh with his absurd view on life and his neurotic charm. In 2026 he won the Audience Award during the Leids Cabaret Festival, playing himself directly into the spotlight as a striking new voice within cabaret. Earlier in 2025 as a soloist he won both the Jury and Audience Award at the Amsterdams Studenten Cabaret Festival. He graduated from the Koningstheateracademie in 's-Hertogenbosch and won the Griffoen/Zuidplein Cabaret Festival with his cabaret duo. Meeuw Roovers guarantees a mix of honesty, absurdity, and on-target jokes.
