In this playful and energetic circus performance we go on a journey. While flying,
jumping and carrying each other we discover that being on the road is sometimes

Wanna Cirque?! is a collective of young circus makers from Mortsel, between 14
and 30 years old, connected to Art to Move vzw. Since 2021 we have been working under the
artistic guidance of Lauro Crijns, Kass VanderSande and Jis van Houselt
on annual circus productions in which co-creation
is central. Each project arises from a jointly chosen theme. The
members bring their own creations (solos and duets) that are integrated into a
group performance. After the performance everyone can experiment acrobatically for a while

ExhibitionFurther Away, Closer WithinOriginally from Slovakia, Barbara has spent the last decade living and creating across the world, from Indonesia and India to Sweden, Germany, and now Belgium. A former humanitarian professional, her practice carries the values that guided her work in the field: compassion, curiosity, and a deep belief in the beauty of human connection. Through vibrant watercolour and digital illustration, she captures the landscapes, cultures and people encountered along the way, creating work that is joyful, mindful, and full of warmth.
The exhibition brings together a collection of paintings and illustrations inspired by a year of travel, exploring the relationship between place and personal transformation. The works are displayed on the mezzanine of Craft Studios, Rue du Viaduc 66, 1050 Ixelles, and are available for purchase on site, original prints and posters can be acquired directly at the studio throughout the duration of the exhibition.

Musicshoe/farm - a family business“What we used to eat, we now put on your feet!” In shoe/farm – a family business, 'shoe store' and 'farm' melt together into a fictional family business. Picturesque scenes portray a farm where shoes are grown, harvested, branded, and sold.
As daughters of a shoe store and a farm, Oshin Albrecht and Melissa Mabesoone ask themselves questions about how family ties and background influence ideas about labor, class, and money. What does it mean to be not only a ‘child of’ but also an heir? Homegrown and self-made?
In burens' first group performance for the black box, they portray a family of four and a team performing tasks in the production line. From a collection of wooden clogs, glass boots, and denim shoes, they shed light on fetishistic relationships with the shoe and ponder what it would be like to walk in someone else's shoes: from low-wage shoe factory worker to have-it-all fashionista. In a playful and layered manner, they maneuver from pre-industrial to late capitalism.

Gradually, Gelsomina develops a bond with Zampano and on the road, meets another street performer, “Le Fou”. This meeting will upset Gelsomina and will have fatal consequences on their lives.
This adaptation directed by Pierrette Dupoyet met with the enthusiasm and advice of Federico Fellini and Giulietta Masina.
The instinctive poetry, the simple and precise approach reflects the emotional intelligence of Gelsomina. It takes us by the throat and plunges us entirely into the story.
Goodness and common sense find here an answer to human behaviors.

ExhibitionFurther Away, Closer WithinOriginally from Slovakia, Barbara has spent the last decade living and creating across the world, from Indonesia and India to Sweden, Germany, and now Belgium. A former humanitarian professional, her practice carries the values that guided her work in the field: compassion, curiosity, and a deep belief in the beauty of human connection. Through vibrant watercolour and digital illustration, she captures the landscapes, cultures and people encountered along the way, creating work that is joyful, mindful, and full of warmth.
The exhibition brings together a collection of paintings and illustrations inspired by a year of travel, exploring the relationship between place and personal transformation. The works are displayed on the mezzanine of Craft Studios, Rue du Viaduc 66, 1050 Ixelles, and are available for purchase on site, original prints and posters can be acquired directly at the studio throughout the duration of the exhibition.

Each table entrusts an anecdote to the actors/actresses. They pick them at random and must immediately transform them into completely improvised scenes. Your stories become their inspiration... and sometimes their trap.
But that's not all. Live and with music, a "Composer of Emotions" takes control of the stage: he accelerates the feelings, changes the tone of a scene, and provokes reactions in the actors/actresses that they absolutely did not foresee.
The audience provides the anecdotes. Le Compositeur of Emotions sows panic. The actors/actresses try to keep control.
TRACnecdote is a spicy, cheerfully uncontrollable improv freeform that is different at every performance. Nothing is written, nothing is replayed: everything is born on stage from your stories.
