« That's it, I think I am officially an adult and it is much less exciting than what I had been sold… Humor being the best weapon against disillusionment, I wanted to do this show! What if we laughed together about the fact that life makes no sense? Well, being a child is magnificent, having a child must be magnificent, but between the two… I am not sure I get the concept.»

TheatreQueen KongDe Hélène Vignal by Georges Lini
Un a rough diamond in the shape of an uppercut. Emilie Eechaute literally explodes in this role that she seizes with spirit, skill, and bite. La Libre La play weaves the raw story of a painful emancipation, the portrait of a young girl on fire. (…) An ode to sex from the female point of view: fulfilled, free, joyful, and consensual. Le Soir Aussi powerful as it is moving. A real shock. L'Echo
"I know why it makes them crazy. Because I behaved like most guys. I fucked when I wanted, who I wanted, I left right after, I chose without waiting to be chosen."
To the group, she is one. A beautiful one. A real one. A big one. A hell of a...
That's what they say in the comments that make her phone ring repeatedly, between insults and murderous emojis. But she chooses to see, touch, hear, taste. Without giving in to the pressure and judgment of the pack. She plays by her own rules. Alone? Maybe not...
Queen Kong is an incisive and brilliant text carried by a heroine who dynamites the codes and decides to follow at all costs this desire for freedom that beats within her. Whatever the price to pay.
Directed by Georges Lini (Iphigénie à Splott, La Soeur de Jésus-Christ...), Queen Kong is the third part of his "Antigone Trilogy" which brings together fierce opponents of fatalism, arbitrariness, and injustices of all kinds. Queen Kong speaks without taboo about sexuality, desire, and fantasy. It is also THE novel acclaimed by young readers upon its release in 2021 who made it THEIR show.

TheatreWozzeckWhen composer Alban Berg saw Georg Büchner’s fragmentary theatre text performed in 1914, it inspired him to create an absolute masterpiece. Raw and unfiltered, Wozzeck shows us the dehumanization of a vulnerable individual who craves recognition and connection but is systematically rejected and abused.
In this new production, music director Alain Altinoglu and stage director Christophe Coppens delve deeper into the turbulent emotions of the soldier Wozzeck. As a maelstrom of violence and isolation gradually blurs the boundaries between past and present, reality and imagination, his splintered psyche slides towards a single inevitable thought: murder. When it premiered in 1925, Berg’s opera caused a real sensation. A century later, this haunting work proves that it has lost none of its relevance.
Are you under 30? Then attend this opera on the Young Opera Night (10.11.2026) and we treat you to a personal welcome, a free drink, a free digital programme book and an after-event or other surprise.Sun 8 Nov · 15:00La Monnaie · BrusselsUntil 22 Nov

A true nursery of talents meticulously spotted by Jamel Debbouze, comedian, actor, and successful producer, this new collective show returns today after having already conquered the capital and all of France on tour.

TheatreAdversoeursBetween jubilation and humor, Adversœurs… is first of all the desire of a woman to tell us about her fascination for two exceptional athletes, two women of the field with an incredible destiny: the Williams sisters. From their story, she created a parallel with her own and questions herself in filigree about her relationships with her own sister: how to be sisters while being rivals, how to remain sisters without becoming rivals…
What remains beyond the conflict, beyond the performance?
Will their sisterhood allow them to go through everything? Will this sisterhood survive all the trials?
Two stories that weave together beautifully, and it will be a question of bodies, women, skin, ambition, tennis, place to take, movement, effort, and performance. It will also be a question of loyalty, complicity, love.
Whether you are a fan of tennis, the Williams sisters, or family stories, join us on both sides of the net to discover this unpublished text, in a sharp cast. Game, set, and match!

TheatreSpaghetti WesternA world of cowboys, outlaws, heroes, and anti-heroes opens up amidst dirty plates, empty bottles, and shattered glasses. Someone gets their head bashed in for no reason. Christ’s cross is shot to pieces, and a duel using the rubble ensues. Starting from a prologue full of violence and clichés, Spaghetti Western questions the hypocrisy of the new imperialist Western policy. A satirical and epic-historical deconstruction of our (so-called) post-war history. In this performance, the Wild West is not located in the 19th century, nor in the US. On the contrary. We find ourselves in the Wild West here, everywhere, and now. Images of violence can no longer be banished from daily life. Propaganda justifying Western policy within the geopolitical order is also omnipresent – to such an extent, in fact, that we are beginning to consider it normal. Meanwhile, polarization and unease are growing among the citizenry. With Spaghetti Western, the actors and theatre-makers Aurelie Di Marino, Renée Goethijn, Femke Stallaert, Michiel Soete, Oscar Briou, Edoardo Ripani, Oxana Sankova, Atta Nasser, Nona Buhrs, Roel Faes, Paola Bartoletti, Yuni Mahieu, Giovanni Barcella, Kaat Arnaert, Tomas Pevenage, and Anthony Chang draw inspiration from the Italian film genre of the same name, the critical variant of the classic American Western, that flourished in the late 1960s. • Aurelie Di Marino (b. 1986) is a theatre-maker and director. She studied Literary Studies at KU Leuven and obtained a Master in Directing at RITCS School of Arts in Brussels in 2013. In her work, she moves between theatre, performance, and research, developing a distinct artistic trajectory, both individually and within long-term collaborations and collectives. Her artistic practice is characterized by a strong interest in ideology, power, ethics, and collective mythology. She has performed as an actor and maker on stage and in exhibition contexts, and has been involved in productions at venues including Kaaitheater, Antigone, Beursschouwburg, theater arsenaal, detheatermaker, and Buda. From 2013 to 2022, she was one of the core members of Koekelberg Alliance of Crafters (K.A.K.), a collective that, via artistic occupations of public and abandoned spaces in Belgium and internationally, investigated self-organization, community, and artistic autonomy. Since 2022 she has been working on Malgré Tout, a multi-year chronicle of Western ‘civilization’ that premiered in Brussels in June 2025, a collaboration between Kaaitheater and Théâtre Varia. • Renée Goethijn (b. 1987, BE, she/her) studied in the makers' program at the RITCS School of Arts in Brussels. She explores the boundaries between theatre and visual art, creating visual, absurd performances in which the scenography often forms the core of the production. In doing so, she creates bizarre parallel realities that expose the principles and mechanisms that steer and determine our societal reality. Since her graduation, Renée’s artistic work has consisted of a continuous interplay between an individual trajectory, collective practices, and other collaborations. She founded Koekelberg Alliance of Crafters (K.A.K.) in 2014 with a number of other former RITCS students – a horizontal alliance of 16 theatre-makers, tinkerers, thinkers, and other charlatans in search of alternative forms of creation, presentation, and collectivity. With K.A.K. she has created Office de Tourisme/ Agence de Voyage (2016), Life, Death and Television (2018), Snøw (2019), The Unheard (2020). At Kunstenwerkplaats (KWP), she created 4 Women Getting Sick (2025), a co-production of Kaaitheater, Viernulvier, Antigone, C-takt/Beyond the black box, among other productions.Thu 12 Nov · 20:00KVS BOL · BrusselsUntil 13 Novfrom €8
TheatreHOUBHow can we describe our bodies if we have no language? In Arabic, ḥoub means ‘love in all its forms’. The root ح ب ب (‘ḥbb’) refers to the seed, the core, that which carries life within itself. The Houb of the title stands for a sisterly dialogue between the poetry of Zaïneb Ḥamdi and the turntablism practice of Soumaya Phéline Abouda. Drawing from her poetry collection Où mon amour sera houb*, Zaïneb Hamdi expresses urgent issues that engage both artists: the reappropriation of non-white bodies, their languages and history, withdrawal from the ‘systems of the Fathers’, and the rejection of any essentialization used as an instrument of power. Houb unfolds these poetic words in scenes, somewhere between confessions and incantations. Like an echo, the live orchestrated music behind the turntables becomes a full-fledged narrative that deconstructs and composes voices, textures, and samples and guides the breath of the poem. Zaïneb and Soumaya let a living language float between orality and sounds between them. They call for discursive plurality by inviting a voice from the world of poetry onto the stage at every performance, to allow a unique story – for the duration of a text – to resonate in the heart of the show. In a circular, science-fiction-like setting, Houb immerses the audience in an artistic, sensory cross-pollination in which poetry, music, and silence pave the way for listening and shared vibration. • Zaïneb Hamdi is a Belgian poet, writer, and performer. Fils d’Arabe, her first poetry collection, was published in 2017. In 2024, she published Où mon amour sera ḥoub, which was awarded the 2025 Les Grenades – Prix de la marraine literary prize, which recognizes a feminist work of poetry. Her texts explore otherness, the place of women, their relationships with masculinity, the body, and language, blurring the boundaries between the intimate and the collective. In addition to the written word, she is also active in the digital space of social media, where she creates short-form visual and auditory poetry that combine image, text, and video. On stage, she is developing a form of performance poetry that combines spoken word, recitation, and solo performance. Her shows have been presented at various cultural institutions, including La Bellone, Maison Poème, the Beursschouwburg, and the Palais de Tokyo. • Soumaya Phéline Abouda, originally from Brussels, is a sound artist, DJ, composer, and performer, active on Belgian and international stages since 2006. As a resident at Kiosk Radio, co-founder of the High Needs Low club nights, and co-organizer of Club Détour, she has positioned herself at the intersection of sound design and alternative electronic cultures. Her work explores the evolution of the DJ profession and the way in which the tools (CDJ, turntables, and mixer) can become true narrative and expressive instruments. She calls this approach CDJism, an extension of the turntablism from which she develops her gestures, physicality, and imagination. Through this exploration, she transforms the DJ performance into a space of active listening, improvisation, and composition in real time, in which every movement becomes an act of writing. Her sonic universe is characterized by a technical and organic exploration of sounds, combining deep basses, complex breakbeats, and polyrhythmic structures to create unique and ephemeral experiences. As a member of the ‘Psst Mlle’ feminist collective, she advocates for more diversity and inclusivity in electronic music.Thu 12 Nov · 20:30Atelier 210 · BrusselsUntil 14 Novfrom €17
TheatreFeydeau, room 21We are in 1920. In room 21 of a psychiatric hospital in Paris, Georges Feydeau, one of the greatest authors of vaudevilles, is interned. No, this is not a farce, the greatest of vaudevillians ended his life insane! It didn't take more for two Olybrius, taking up the codes of the genre, to seize this tragi-comic situation to create a real… vaudeville based on historical reality.
Locked in room 21, Feydeau cannot help but transform doctors and nurses into grand-guignolesque characters of a play of which he is this time the hero.
And here are the spectators press-ganged into an implacable mechanism, where misunderstandings and slamming doors follow one another at a frantic pace. The famous room becomes the nerve center of all disorders, and, by the magic of the theater, transforms into a hotel where everyone tries to hide their intentions: lovers, spouses, servants, and guests cross paths and get tangled up until total confusion.
A burlesque and virtuoso comedy, with lively dialogues, where everything is told “in the manner of Feydeau.” A comedy that unfolds all the art of laughter, precision, and perfectly orchestrated chaos.
A troupe of enthusiastic actors, full of imagination, pay a vibrant tribute to one of the funniest authors of the French repertoire.
To warm up and make our winter evenings sparkle.
It is jubilant!

TheatreThe Rules of Etiquette in Modern SocietyTo be born is not complicated. To die is very easy. To live, between these two events, is not necessarily impossible. It is only a question of following the rules and applying the principles to accommodate oneself to it, it is enough to know that in all circumstances, there exists a solution, a way to react and to behave, an explanation for problems, for life is only a long series of tiny problems, which, each one, calls for and must know an answer.
For that, it is enough to come and listen to some wise advice. For it is a question of knowing and learning, from the already so mundane moment of one's birth, to hold one's rank and respect the codes that govern existence. It is finally a question of controlling one's sorrows, of crying in necessary and relative quantity, of judging the importance of one's grief and always, in the most difficult moments of life, of evaluating the fair share that one grants them.
Dans Les Règles of etiquette in modern society, Jean-Luc Lagarce explores conformity to social codes. He suggests, with biting irony, that letting our feelings speak could break social barriers.

TheatreMission MolièreAlceste is done with it. With the hypocrisy in the world. With the sucking up to each other's faces and the gossiping behind one's back. With the general hypersensitivity. Enough with this whole little play too. It is time for radical honesty. Always and everywhere. Unfortunately for Alceste, he is head over heels in love with Célimène, a woman who has mastered the art of wrapping anything and everything around her little finger.
“The players throw themselves with verve, grandly and grotesquely into their acting and maintain that level up to the bitter end.”
The performance was chosen because all players deliver intense physical acting with verve and humor, the rhythm and musicality remain upright from beginning to end, and the design, from the costumes to the transparent playing surface, sharply supports the theme. The whole feels like a celebration of playing pleasure, carried by a team that effortlessly maintains the high level.Sun 8 Nov · 15:00–18:00hetpaleis · Antwerpfrom €18

TheatreEvita 50The world-famous musical Evita is 50 years old and that is being celebrated in style! Experience the magnificent masterpiece in this musical performance as it was intended: sung in English by top soloists Vajèn van den Bosch (Eva Péron) and Milan van Waardenburg (Che Guevara). They are accompanied by a thirty-piece orchestra and a large choir on stage. The remaining roles will be announced at a later date. The legendary duo Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber released the concept album Evita in November 1976, which naturally included the song that became a global hit overnight: ‘Don’t Cry For Me Argentina’. In the Netherlands, too, the hit spent no fewer than ten weeks at number one in the Top 40. Thus, the musical about the life of the famous Argentine actress and first lady Eva Péron became one of the most beloved musicals of all time. TheatreMare MadreMare Madre is a poetic performance about the intense bond between a mother and her son, about missing and finding each other again, about drifting away and washing ashore.
A boy walks along the surf and collects artifacts from the North Sea. Ever since his childhood he has been a beachcomber, mesmerized by everything the sea coughs up and swallows. The sea reveals to him a treasure chest full of relics; a punctured lifebuoy, seeds from other continents, a sperm whale that urgently needs to be kept alive.
A mother walks along the surf and collects memories of her son. Ever since his childhood it has been clear that he thinks differently and lives differently. Will she be able to let him go into the wide world? Will he be able to let her go?
With Met Marijke Pinoy and her son Titus De Sutter Pinoy on stage, that story acquires a special vulnerability. The encounter between an experienced actress and a performer without a classical stage background gives extra relief to the story of a mother and her son who are each learning to let go in their own way.
Tom Goossens directs, Marijke Libert & Fred Libert write, Stephan Vanfleteren designs the scenography. Together, inspired by Aäron Fabrice de Kisangani, they bring a performance that aims to be as austere as it is rich in imagery.

TheatreThe Time Of Now /2Following the success of last season, the sequel now follows because friendship takes no account of age.
In De Tijd van Nu part 1 last time we saw how five seventy-somethings, bound by lifelong friendship, decided to live together. De Tijd van Nu part 2 continues where life takes no pause.
The cohousing adventure is put to the test. The group has to deal with loss, a faltering memory, love taking unexpected forms, and the question of how to age gracefully when control slowly slips away. Old secrets float to the surface, new relationships arise, and the boundary between holding on and letting go becomes painfully sharp.
With sharp dialogues, touching silences, and a hefty dose of recognizable humor, De Tijd van Nu part 2 shows how friendship holds up when everything changes. A performance about grief and resilience, about saying goodbye without losing each other, and about continuing to choose life.

TheatreHugo Matthysen, Ronny Mosuse & Aram Van Ballaert | BIMDEKBIMDEK
In the successful theater tour HURORAM!, Hugo Matthysen, Aram Van Ballaert, and Ronny Mosuse just didn't give the best of themselves. That is being saved for a second tour, which is being unleashed on the world under the title BIMDEK.
What does Bimdek mean? Googling doesn't help us any further. The most accurate description is: Bimdek is a word from a language that consists of only one word, namely the word Bimdek. You can translate it as 'Theatertour van Matthysen, Mosuse, and Van Ballaert'.
What can we expect? There will again be deep digging into Hugo's rich repertoire, of course there are also new songs in it and certainly also a song in the language from which the word Bimdek originates. In between, the necessary meaningful nonsense will be told, so that the deep emotion can sometimes give way to cheerful bewilderment, with which the mental balance of the audience is immediately pampered.
About the makers: Aram Van Ballaert and Ronny Mosuse are two musical toppers. And Hugo Matthysen also does his best with strings.Tue 10 Nov · 19:30–21:00De Vooruit Gent · Ghentfrom €35
TheatreBest beforeRobrecht Vanden Thoren looks at his sweetheart. There she sits, headphones on, thumb on the screen, probably looking for baby stuff. She wants a child. They are about to embark on that adventure - the last strip is out of the packaging, the hormones are finding their rhythm, life is ready for the next step. Just as it should be.
Apart from his receding hairline, everything seems fine for Robrecht in Ten minste houdbaar tot. He has a job, a girlfriend, a life that runs smoothly. But still, there is that restlessness: the world around him is raging. War, climate, the unhinged fellow human being. And then there is that other doubt - love itself. He falls in love so easily, what if he can't keep it up? What if, in the middle of the storm, he no longer knows how to stand his ground? The future is wobbling like a drunkard. Will he throw everything overboard tonight?Wed 11 Nov · 20:00–22:00Compagnie Cecilia · Ghentfrom €16+3 more dates
TheatreThe Party, Anne-Cécile Van Dalem / Das Fraulein KompanieAnne-Cécile Vandalem and Joëlle Sambi draw on a real event that deeply marked Belgium: the death of Sanda Dia in December 2018, following an initiation ritual within an elitist student fraternity.
Starting from this tragedy and the trial of the members of Reuzegom, their creative team is undertaking a long-term exploration of
the mechanisms that protect elites, the denial of racism, and the reproduction of social privilege.
Theatre becomes a space for experimentation, where reality and fiction rub against each other, where silenced narratives can emerge without any promise of consolation or forgiveness. At the crossroads of the political and the intimate, the play seeks to make visible the shadowy zones left by the handling of this story — those unresolved areas that theatre brings into the open.,Thu 12 Nov · 20:00–22:00NTGent Schouwburg · Ghentfrom €15+1 more date
TheatreSteven Mahieu - 'More stable'A bit of irony is not foreign to Steven Mahieu. A week before the premiere of his fifth theater show ‘Stabiel’, his mental lightbulb started flickering seriously. The tour had to be canceled. In his new show ‘Stabieler’, Steven relives his months of confrontation, purification, and – fortunately – also humor. He learned that a person always plans for success in the future but never for failure. And also that it is better to solve problems with your mind instead of creating them. Before you get scared that Steven has turned into an all-knowing guru, no worries: this Steven is also not yet completely stable. But definitely more stable. And that is enough.Fri 13 Nov · 20:00–22:30Capitole Gent · Ghentfrom €22

Torquemada has eyes only for his wife, Concepción. But he is not the only one. In his clock shop, suitors follow one another to the rhythm of the ticking. From stratagem to misunderstanding, Concepción hopes to take advantage of her husband's absence for a gallivanting adventure. At the end of a burlesque ballet, all the admirers end up hidden inside clocks, transported upstairs by Ramiro, a muleteer...
Scandal! What is this opera subject where men lurk inside clocks to be subsequently transported to the bedroom of an unfaithful woman? Upon the premiere of The Spanish Hour in 1911, critics lambasted the work, going so far as to cry pornography. The young composer was also criticized for a cold aesthetic. For the time, the subtle timbres of the orchestra seemed singular. Celesta, tubular bells, and muted horns are juxtaposed with polyrhythms; as in the prelude where three pendulums set to different tempi create a closed world.Tue 3 Nov · 20:00Opéra Royal de Wallonie · Liège+2 more dates
TheatreViolette's sillinessIn her little girl's imagination, Violette, unfiltered, experiences everything intensely. Love, death, separation, anger, boredom, it's no laughing matter.
With bubbling energy, she takes us along to retrace the thread of memories with her grandpa: his departure party, the horror stories he told her in the evening, but above all their wacky pickle recipes. She sets out to send him a letter on the moon.
From sea storms all the way to her moon landing, passing through the tarantula jungle, Violette replays all the emotions and questions that undoubtedly make up her daily life... Where do we go when we die? How do you handle two boyfriends? What is a tax audit? Since I see the moon, is it closer than Spain?
Between humor and resilience, Violette brings the objects around her to life and reinvents the world in her own way. Borrowing the codes of stand-up, she doubles down on audacity with a disarming spontaneity.

TheatreTillie's tourFor those curious about the fascinating history of the Theater, we organize guided tours on the Sundays of Foyer Matinee.
Families with children can go on a voyage of discovery through the building as early as the morning, thanks to the imaginative audio guide Tillies toer.
Do you feel like standing on that big stage yourself? Do you wonder where those paintings on the ceiling come from, with all those naked people? Or who has walked on the majestic stairs of the royal entrance hall? Do you know what oddities are left behind in the cloakroom? And what does an artist's dressing room look like?
Tillie?
Tillie grew up as the director's child in the Theater. As a result, she knows the building like the back of her hand. She takes you on a tour and talks endlessly about that wonderful theater building, from the highest balcony to the orchestra pit under the stage.
Theatermakers Sofie Palmers (BRONKS, fABULEUS) and Katrien Pierlet (Studio Orka) created an audio story for children about our pearl of a Theater. That became the imaginative audio guide Tillies toer.
Sofie Palmers and Katrien Pierlet
We asked theater makers Sofie Palmers (BRONKS, fABULEUS, hetpaleis) and Katrien Pierlet (Studio Orka, Ultima Thule, BRONKS) to create an audio guide for our pearl of a theater.
They previously made the successful podcast Radio Fiona and know better than anyone how to dive into a child's imagination. They guarantee a beautiful story, in which, besides humor, there is also room for emotion and in which children learn something about theater and the rich history of our beautiful theater in a playful way.

In the midst of the Cold War and the Space Race, Laika, a tiny puppy, roams the freezing streets of the city. She has no idea that her destiny will take her far beyond Earth. On board the spacecraft Sputnik II, she will go down in history as the first living creature to orbit the Earth. At the same time, Laika becomes a silent witness to the abuse of power and human ambitions over which she has no control.
In this poetic and visually rich performance, Xirriquiteula Teatre employs a wide range of techniques: live rear projections, puppets, automatons, shadow play and live acting. The characters speak in a playful pseudo-Russian, accompanied by an impressive soundtrack. Every element is carefully woven into a harmonious whole, the result of a long and intense collective creative process in which each actor contributes their own expertise.
A heart-warming and moving performance about dreams, stars and honesty on earth.

TheatrePOSTOPOSTO is a participatory contemporary dance piece about finding a place. There is no designated space to sit; everyone finds their place wherever they want in the room. Three large balls invite the audience to join in, to run and dance, and sometimes to stand and watch together.
How do we do this together? How can we have fun together?
The balls will help us. As objects for playing, they invite people to move. Suddenly, a child will cross the room by running. Then it might be everyone running behind a ball, until we all sit in the center and look at planets floating above our heads.
POSTO wants to reflect, through a game—partly to do, partly to watch—on the subtle balance between freedom of interaction and awareness of the group. It is an invitation to participate in a performance, playing on the fine line of having agency and always leaving a bit of space for others.
A game about empathy and the sense of responsibility that develops when we play together.Sun 8 Nov · 11:00–17:0030CC/Schouwburg · Leuvenfrom €10
TheatreThe MirrorGravity & Other Myths makes a distinctive form of Circus theatre, where artists push their boundaries to the limit.
Human towers explode, while acrobats fly all over the place in an excruciating tempo. They play with facades, reality, illusions and expectations. They focus on themselves and the audience with cameras, selfie sticks, smoke-effects, loud music and film. They expose vanity and posing by asking the question: Do you see who you want to be or who you are?
The Australian Circus theatre-group Gravity & Other Myths pushes the boundaries of what is physically possible. In the mirror, they prove themselves once again as one of the best circus companies in the world. The performance contains 8 acrobats and is directed by Darcy Grant and Jascha Boyce, while a live singer performs pop medleys composed by Ekrem Eli Phoenix.

Theatre@ASTRAThe universe is beautiful and there is a lot to discover. Between the stars, you see dust, gas, ice, and moons floating, but listen, there is also something to hear in that space... For composer Wim Henderickx, the world was too small... He looked over distant horizons, peered at stars and planets, and wrote music inspired by earth, fire, air, and water. Using Met Henderickx’s music as a starting point, Helene Bracke created a performance that takes you on a journey through the universe. Stars and planets pass in review. Each with their own character, color, and temperament. Two percussionists and a singer play for, between, and with the audience and invite you for a journey past stardust, fiery celestial bodies, watery worlds, and a booming sun. Helene Bracke studied classical music at the Conservatorium van Gent and specialized in opera. She emerged as a maker, director, scenographer, and singer as a versatile artist within the music theater world. In 2025, she won the YAM Award for Beste Opera with ‘A la vie, à la mort. – Voor altijd’. She worked with, among others, the Belgian National Orchestra, Festival van Vlaanderen, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, and numerous international partners. When that succeeds, something arises that you could call pure magic. Voor Ballroom you take a seat in a converted truck. Inside, juggler Stijn Grupping takes you thanks to a lot of practice and a bit of magic into an incredible dance of bouncing balls. A wordless trip for daydreamers. "Post uit Hessdalen defies all laws of nature in its new circus performance. White bouncing balls dance a strong statement against every form of mechanics. (...) don't forget to close your open mouth again after the performance" ★★★★ De Standaard "A powerful play in space and time that aptly asks questions about how we experience time as modern working people." TheatreNele GoossensWhat happens when love conquers not only your heart, but also your schedule, your house, your children, and your hobbies? In 'Bonusmama', Nele Goossens takes you into the life of a blended family: an existence full of unexpected turns, new rituals, and adventures you never planned. Kitesurfing on a deserted beach, or a long-distance trip to a place you had never heard of, but where you are now making memories together. With her typical humor, warmth, and sharp observations, Nele talks about BONUS children, BONUS rules, and above all: BONUS baggage. About learning to love what you first thought was strange. About braving headwinds together – literally and figuratively. About how love takes you, sometimes with wind force 6, to a life you could never have imagined, but which fits wonderfully. 'Bonusmama' is a relatable, funny, and moving performance about blended families, new hobbies, long-distance trips, and the art of living together.Sat 14 Nov · 20:30–22:15CC Zwaneberg · Heist-op-den-Bergfrom €20
