Animal Farm meets Pokémon meets Final Fantasy. ‘asses.masses’ is a custom-made video game that is played live from start to finish by the audience, one player at a time. In this epic story - of more than 7 hours (!) - you follow a herd of unemployed donkeys trying to win back their jobs. Spectators take the controller and lead the animals through a post-industrial world. A playful and surprising experience about work and play, technology and change. It is gaming as performance: expect an immersive, funny, and above all original experience. Instead of just gaming in your room, you do this together with a large group. You decide what the donkey does or does not do. Important: you definitely don't have to be a gamer for this, even without game experience it is an amusing experience!
