Rise And Fall returns to the stage for the first time since 2012. On November 7, they will play in their hometown of Ghent in the iconic De Vooruit, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Into Oblivion. The set will reflect that milestone, with the album central, alongside material from the rest of their catalog. For more than ten years, Rise And Fall has built a reputation as one of Europe's most uncompromising hardcore bands. Thoughtful, intense, and unmistakably their own. The band was founded in the early 2000s in Ghent and built its name by constantly touring and regularly releasing new releases: four albums and four EPs, largely released by Deathwish Inc., the label founded by J. Bannon van Converge. At the end of 2012, the band stopped performing live. There was no official breakup, no farewell concert, no drama. Just a break that ultimately lasted much longer than expected. Fourteen years later, Rise And Fall returns to the stage for the first time. In the intervening years, the band members never stopped creating and remained active in bands such as Wiegedood, Oathbreaker, Raw Peace, Wrong Man, Force, Crouch, Blind To Faith, and Living Gate. Rise And Fall never officially stopped; they just went quiet. On November 7, that silence will come to an end. Support acts will be announced later.
