Originally formed by Fin Greenall, Fink released their first album in 2006 on Ninja Tune, a renowned independent label with which the group collaborated for the following thirteen years. Thanks to its unique mix of folk, blues, electronic music, and intimate lyrics, Fink has built an international community of fans and performs tirelessly around the world. Throughout his career, his music has been widely highlighted in flagship films and television series, notably Selma, The Walking Dead, and Better Call Saul. Fink has also collaborated with John Legend on the soundtrack of the Oscar-winning film 12 Years a Slave, and worked with artists such as Amy Winehouse, Bonobo, and many others. After more than 20 years of career and countless concerts, Fin Greenall, Tim Thornton, and Guy Whittaker retain the same thirst for discovery and the same pleasure in surpassing themselves on stage. They will demonstrate it once again on November 9 at Cirque Royal.

MusicJOB & FriendsAfter three sold-out shows on November 9, 2025, in Stadsschouwburg Antwerpen, JOB, better known as Dutchtuber, is now preparing for the biggest stage of his career. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the 26-year-old Dutch internet star returns to Belgium with his brand new live show: ‘JOB & Friends’, but this time in the Lotto Arena. Even in the Netherlands, where his success story began, JOB had never played such a large show of his own. ‘JOB & Friends’ promises a spectacular, interactive show full of humor, music, and surprises - this time in the company of some famous friends from the online and musical world. ‘JOB & Friends’ will be a real feel-good experience where young (and older) fans can experience both JOB and their other favorite online heroes up close. What started as a hobby of a fourteen-year-old in his bedroom in the Netherlands grew into a true phenomenon. Last year alone, he dropped more than 500 videos, good for over 300 million views and seven times in YouTube Trending. Job shows that he can also reach a new audience as an artist. Ten years after the start of his online adventures, JOB is in Antwerp on the largest stage of his career to date with his own show - something he says he “Never dared to dream”. That his biggest show to date is taking place not in the Netherlands, but in Belgium, makes it all the more special for him.Sat 7 Nov · 15:00–16:30Lotto Arena · Antwerp

The audience in a filled-to-the-last-seat Capitole Gent enjoyed, rewarded the East Flemish singer afterwards with a standing ovation lasting minutes, but the ultimate and most valuable compliment for Christoff followed when Will Tura himself stood up and enthusiastically showed his appreciation. After the successful kick-off in Ghent, Christoff started a sold-out concert series of Christoff zingt Tura, which was followed this autumn by Christoff zingt Tura 2. On November 10, 2025, Christoff concludes these concerts in a packed Concertgebouw Brugge. MusicBenjamin Verdonck / Theater Artemis & Wiener Festwochen - All before Death is LifeAn entertaining evening full of hocus pocus!
A magician with nothing in his hands and (almost) nothing up his sleeves. He fiddles with butter, fools around with photos from newspapers and with a banana and an orange. In the end, he even changes color! This is a performance in which everything goes wrong, about a world stage on which much goes wrong, but where you don't walk away from: you keep searching, singing, feeling, doing somersaults, and falling hard, because all before death is life. A playful and disruptive solo by Benjamin Verdonck, directed by Jetse Batelaan.

MusicNOISE ROOM: Yasuaki Shimizu / Catharina Evens - Support: GAMETwo adventurous musical worlds come together during this RUISKAMER. De Japanse saxophonist Yasuaki Shimizu, living legend and cult figure behind the albums ‘Kakashi’ and ‘Utakata No Hibi’, shares the evening with the Brussels pianist and electronics wizard Catharina Evens. Expect an intimate, curious, and layered sound trip in which sax, piano, electronics, and improvisation challenge and embrace each other.
De Japanse saxophonist, composer, and producer Yasuaki Shimizu has been active in the music world for almost fifty years. His work moves effortlessly between pop, jazz, minimalism, soundtracks, and pure experiments. He worked with, among others, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Björk, and Van Dyke Parks. Cult albums ‘Kakashi’ and ‘Utakata No Hibi’, masterful crossings of Japanese folk and pop elements, have found a new audience in recent years thanks to reissues on Palto Flats. Due to the refined electronic/disco production style, they sound just as fresh as in the early 80s.
After a completely sold-out first North American tour ever in 2025, he is now in our RUISKAMER for the first time, a unique chance to hear and see a living legend up close.
Catharina Evens (1997°, Brussels) is a Belgian experimental electro-acoustic pianist who searches for an alternative sound palette for the acoustic piano. She does this, among other things, by manipulating acoustic sounds live via electronics and amplifying them and letting them resonate through the entire sound box and strings of the piano. The typical piano sound, which we usually associate with the acoustic piano, fades and thus makes way for an idiosyncratic sound universe of which she further explores the various musical possibilities via improvisation and composition.
Using granular textures, playful capriciousness, compelling pianistic passages, naive phrases, percussive accents, piano preparations, rhythmic sequences, and exploring the playing space between different music genres, Catharina thus creates her own absurd sound world full of narrative fragments.
An evening on which two totally different but equally curious musical minds meet. Shimizu’s warm, elastic sax lines and his sense of melodic abstraction find a surprising dialogue with Evens’ hybrid piano world full of resonance, electronics, and improvisation. RUISKAMER as it is intended: close, adventurous, and full of room for discovery.Wed 4 Nov · 19:30–22:30Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER · Ghentfrom €10

MusicAn Miller, Koen Vanmechelen & Dimitri Leue - Ode to WonderOn the occasion of her curatorship of Theater aan Zee in 2021, Caroline Pauwels wrote a beautiful ode to wonder. A plea to open your senses and let your ideas evolve. Children are often full of wonder. Why is the sea blue? Why does it get dark? Why is that man bald? Somewhere on the way to adulthood, most of us lose that open-mindedness. Gradually, the fire of curiosity is extinguished: things are just what they are, there is nothing new under the sun. And that is a pity. Wonder gives life color, helps to push our boundaries, and encourages us to question false certainties. In her book 'Ode to Wonder', Caroline Pauwels makes a passionate plea to look at the world with that childlike gaze again. In science and art, but also in the big and small moments of every day. This 'Ode to Wonder' is just as much an ode to the late rector of the VUB, Caroline Pauwels. With texts by Caroline and music she loved. The rector was a public figure with a love for the arts. She was, among other things, curator for Theater Aan Zee. For the VRT, she made the series 'The insights of Caroline Pauwels' and the VRT also made the 'Vier Seizoenen van Caroline Pauwels'. An Miller crawls into the skin of Caroline Pauwels. Although she has mainly worked for television and film in recent years, An has rediscovered her love for the stage with the remarkable play 'Familie' by Milo Rau/NTGent.Fri 6 Nov · 19:30–20:40Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER · Ghentfrom €29
MusicRise And Fall - 20 Years of Into Oblivion + 4 bandsRise And Fall returns to the stage for the first time since 2012. On November 7, they will play in their hometown of Ghent in the iconic De Vooruit, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Into Oblivion. The set will reflect that milestone, with the album central, alongside material from the rest of their catalog.
For more than ten years, Rise And Fall has built a reputation as one of Europe's most uncompromising hardcore bands. Thoughtful, intense, and unmistakably their own. The band was founded in the early 2000s in Ghent and built its name by constantly touring and regularly releasing new releases: four albums and four EPs, largely released by Deathwish Inc., the label founded by J. Bannon van Converge.
At the end of 2012, the band stopped performing live. There was no official breakup, no farewell concert, no drama. Just a break that ultimately lasted much longer than expected.
Fourteen years later, Rise And Fall returns to the stage for the first time. In the intervening years, the band members never stopped creating and remained active in bands such as Wiegedood, Oathbreaker, Raw Peace, Wrong Man, Force, Crouch, Blind To Faith, and Living Gate.
Rise And Fall never officially stopped; they just went quiet. On November 7, that silence will come to an end.
Support acts will be announced later.Sat 7 Nov · 18:00–23:10Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER · Ghentfrom €25

MusicBIMDEK - Matthysen, Mosuse and Van BallaertWhat does Bimdek mean? Googling doesn't help us any further. The most accurate description is: Bimdek is a word from a language that consists of only one word, namely the word Bimdek. You can translate it as 'Theatertour van Matthysen, Mosuse and Van Ballaert'.
What can we expect? There will be deep digging again into the rich repertoire of Hugo, of course there are also new songs in it and certainly also a song in the language from which the word Bimdek originates.
In between, the necessary meaningful nonsense will be told, so that the deep emotion can occasionally give way to cheerful bewilderment, thereby immediately pampering the mental balance of the audience. About the creators: Aram Van Ballaert and Ronny Mosuse are two musical top talents. And also Hugo Matthysen is doing his strung best.Tue 10 Nov · 19:30–21:00Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER · Ghentfrom €35
MusicHealth - support: VowwsA visceral night of industrial catharsis and maximalist 'sad bangers', in which the crushing noise of HEALTH and the icy death-pop of VOWWS merge into a ritual for the end times. On November 10, the American industrial powerhouse HEALTH descends upon De Vooruit for an evening of sonic surrender. The band is coming to Ghent in the wake of their acclaimed new album CONFLICT DLC. On this release, the trio refines their signature hybrid of crushing industrial metal and icy electronics into what they describe as "sad bangers for the end times." In a world that is becoming increasingly absurd, the music of HEALTH no longer feels like a dystopia, but like a much-needed, rational response to reality. The band creates a sonic mirror for modern chaos. A show by HEALTH is not an ordinary concert, but a visceral ritual where noise and catharsis go hand in hand. The evening will be opened by the duo VOWWS. With their self-proclaimed "death-pop," they create a world in which mystery and darkness prevail. Their sound, supported by greats like Chino Moreno and Gary Numan, floats between terrifying grooves and dreamy soundscapes. MusicMomoko Gill - support tbcMomoko Gill comes to present her acclaimed debut 'Momoko' in the Balzaal van De Vooruit
Momoko Gill has long been one of the best-kept secrets of the British electronic and jazz scene. As a self-taught drummer, producer, songwriter, and singer, she has left her unique mark on collaborations with Alabaster DePlume, Matthew Herbert, Coby Sey, Tirzah, and Nadeem Din-Gabisi (her musical counterpart in An Alien Called Harmony). By touring extensively behind the drum kit, keyboards, and microphone, she has sharpened her instinct for composition and production.
The debut album 'Momoko' sounds extraordinarily mature for a first record. Throughout, the stylistic influences of jazz musicians as well as singer-songwriters, experimental artists, and electronic producers can be heard, but Gill rejects imitation and shapes her unique sound based on feeling and expression rather than tradition. Gill lives in London and grew up in Japan and the US. She incorporates her broad perspective into her musical ideas and stories, with a unique voice she has developed from her instinct, collaborations, and self-study.
The eleven tracks on the album represent a broad spectrum: the jazz-infused groove of 'No Others' and the harmony-infused, reflective 'Heavy' stand in contrast to the dark, confrontational sound of 'Shadowboxing', which transitions into an eerie, unconventional instrumental beat, 'Test A Small Area', and the impressive 50-piece choir on 'When Palestine Is Free' (featuring greats such as Shabaka Hutchings, Soweto Kinch, Alabaster DePlume, Coby Sey, Marysia Osu, and others). It is a highly personal and poetic recording that showcases the full, uncompromising range of Momoko's vision, presented in her own voice.Fri 13 Nov · 19:30–22:45Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER · GhentFree

The result is a beautiful parade of strange ancestors, each of whom shines in their own way in being a bit silly. Because: nothing is as pure and sincere as only half succeeding in something. From the pudding porridge of Willem de Veroveraar, to the life-saving left of Peter Tsjaikovski, to the Massief Monsterverbond van Misnoegde Romeinse Madammen… Sofie presents her endearing study of human folly. MusicReflect Presents: Panteros666 + Saligo + VelotaConceived by OB and Saligo, producer and DJ with techno influences, REFLECT was born from a desire to bring electronic music enthusiasts together around a project anchored in the local scene. MusicDry Cleaning + Teenage ExorcistsIn January 2026, the southern Londres Dry Cleaning post-punk band will release their third album, Secret Love, on the prestigious 4AD label. The follow-up to New Long Leg (2021) and Stumpwork (2022) was born in their rehearsal room, where the four band members wrote, played, and reacted directly to one another. The album continued to mature during inspiring sessions at studio The Loft de Wilco in Chicago, and during recordings with Alan Duggan and Daniel Fox du Gilla Band in Dublin. The final recordings took place with Cate Le Bon at studio Black Box in France. The chemistry worked so well that they quickly decided to continue the collaboration with her as a producer, notably due to her overflowing optimism and open attitude. Cate Le Bon has already produced albums for Deerhunter, Devendra Banhart, Wilco, and Horsegirl.Wed 11 NovReflektor · Liège
MusicMomoko Gill + CondoreMomoko has long been one of the best-kept secrets of the British electronic and jazz scenes. A self-taught drummer, producer, songwriter, and singer, she has brought her singular touch to collaborations with Alabaster DePlume, Matthew Herbert, Coby Sey, Tirzah, and Nadeem Din-Gabisi, her musical partner within An Alien Called Harmony. Numerous tours, behind the drums, at the keyboards, or in front of the mic, have allowed her to refine her instinct for composition and production.
Avec Momoko, Gill steps to the forefront of the stage with an album entirely her own. It features stylistic influences ranging from jazz to singer-songwriters, experimental artists, and electronic producers. Gill rejects imitation and shapes her universe through feeling and expression rather than by following traditions. Based in London and having grown up between Japan and the United States, she transposes the richness of her perspectives into her musical ideas and storytelling, developing a unique voice nurtured by instinct, collaborations, and thorough personal work.Thu 12 NovReflektor · Liège
MusicHollywood Porn StarsHollywood Porn Stars is a Belgian indie rock band formed in 2002 in Liège. Barely three months after their formation, they made a name for themselves by winning the Circuit contest and quickly signed with the French label Naïve, benefiting from international distribution. Their music combines raw energy, sharp guitar riffs, and melancholic melodies, with influences from bands like Sonic Youth, Pixies, and Nirvana.
Although the band was initially active for only six years, they experienced a meteoric career, stringing together over 300 concerts, the release of two albums and three EPs, and leaving a lasting mark on the European indie scene. Among their emblematic tracks, Actarus was widely broadcast on European radios and on MTV, while Starwest and Fugitive are still regularly used for TV background music and soundtracks. After this intense period, the members invested themselves in side projects, notably Piano Club, My Little Cheap Dictaphone or an active involvement in the indie label JauneOrange.Fri 13 NovReflektor · Liège

MusicWe the Neighborhoods / fABULEUS & Het Kwartier - Carl von WinckelmannA group of young people grows up in a city that is slowly sinking into the ground. It is only a few millimeters per year, but still it feels as if the earth is fleeing from under their feet. That places each of them before a difficult choice: leave or stay? Can they even leave, or are they condemned to sit it out here? While the foundations are literally wobbling, the young people seek support from each other. How should they give direction to the present and to their future in this unstable reality?
Voor Wij de Wijken six young people under the guidance of author and director Carl von Winckelmann stepped into a collective writing process, to describe a world in rapid transition, simultaneously directionless and full of doubts. Where are we now? Who are we now? How can you still shape your own identity, if the place where you are is constantly changing? Seven other young people play the new text. In this way Het Kwartier and fABULEUS bring their strengths together: writing new, own texts and working with young people in a professional context.

MusicTrio Da Kali (ML) & The Zawose Queens (TZ)You could certainly call Trio Da Kali a supergroup, with roots deeply embedded in Mali’s musical heritage. The trio performs authentic music rich in cultural depth and timeless beauty. The band consists of singer Hawa Kassé Mady Diabaté (daughter of Kassé Mady Diabaté, one of the greatest voices in African music), balafon player Lassana Diabaté and bass ngoni player Mamadou Kouyaté (son of Bassekou Kouyaté, a master of the ngoni or West African lute).
Trio Da Kali combines traditional griot music with modern influences such as jazz and funk, without losing its essence. Hawa’s voice is clear and expressive, while Lassana and Mamadou provide a rich, rhythmic and harmonious foundation.
Da Kali means ‘to give a pledge’, in this case to the musical heritage of the Mande-jeli (hereditary lineages of musicians) dating back to the time of Sunjata Keita, founder of the great Malian Empire. They carry on that tradition to this day, a heritage that has been preserved and passed down since the 13th century.
This year, they released their first solo album, Bagola, as the follow-up to their 2017 hit album Ladilikan in collaboration with the Kronos Quartet. The album also touches on topical issues, such as in the track Orpaillage, which deals with the impact of gold mining in Mali. Bagola is a powerful tribute to cultural connection and musical innovation – music that is rooted in tradition yet continues to resonate universally.

Mark Guiliana’s passion for both jazz drumming and electronic music is unmistakable in his playing. From bebop to hip-hop and breakbeats, he moves effortlessly across styles. It is no coincidence that he was invited to contribute to major projects such as Blackstar, David Bowie’s final album, and Mehliana, the electro-jazz duo with Brad Mehldau.
It will also be a welcome return for Leuven’s jazz audience. Guiliana previously appeared at Leuven Jazz 2018 as part of the now-legendary drummers edition paying tribute to the late Elvin Jones.
For fans of David Bowie’s Blackstar, J Dilla, Squarepusher, Elvin Jones, Art Blakey …Meral Polat
A contemporary interpretation of traditional Anatolian music: Meral Polat infuses the Kurdish soul with raw blues energy and unfiltered emotion. In her quartet, she creates hypnotic soundscapes that resonate deeply.
Her debut album Ez Kî Me was a contemporary interpretation of the Anatolian repertoire: sometimes a battle cry, other times a tender call for identity and solidarity. This album was nominated for the prestigious Songlines Music Award and the UPBEAT Best New Talent Award 2024.
On her new album Meydan, Polat is backed by a fresh line-up, and reveals an innovative aspect of her sound: a blend in which different eras and cultures merge into a powerful, contemporary language. Meydan gives a voice to women who forge their own path and celebrates female strength. Musically, the album leans towards more rhythm, groove and rock ’n’ roll – telling tales of resistance, struggle and solidarity in the ongoing quest for women’s rights.,Fri 13 Nov · 20:00–22:0030CC/Schouwburg · Leuvenfrom €28

MusicDanielle Nicole BandDanielle Nicole, singer, bassist and songwriter hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, has spent her life making music and pleasing fans, domestically and abroad. Nicole was initially influenced by her parents playing in bands and working around the KC music scene. She recalls seeing her father playing blues guitar and her mother singing with the group Little Eva and The Works and it set off a switch. With her two brothers, Nick and Kris, they formed the "Heavy Blues" band Trampled Under Foot, which found initial popularity in the Midwest, then exploded worldwide for over 10 years. There has been no shortage of praise; Guitar World stated, "Danielle Nicole has won respect and admiration throughout the American blues scene for her soulful, inventive playing and tireless work ethic." Blues Music Magazine effused, "Nicole brings it, bakes it, and serves it up blazing on a silver soul-rocking platter." The Kansas City Star declared, "Blues and soul vocalists tend to improve as they age. Bettye LaVette is among the artists who became increasingly believable as she matured. Danielle Nicole appears to be following in her footsteps." Danielle embarked on her solo career with Wolf Den (2015), which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Blues charts and amassed 7.5 million Spotify streams. Cry No More (2018) followed, the record was nominated for a Grammy in the contemporary blues category and debuted at number one in the Billboard Blues Charts -- it also boasts over Spotify streams in excess of 10 million. The Love You Bleed (2024) has amassed over 1.2 million streams in the less than a year since its release on Forty Below Records. MusicRaghium InquisitorAndries Boone is one of the musicians who helped shape Flemish folk over the past fifteen years. Both with the mandolin quartet MANdolinMAN, and with his solo trilogy C.O.L.O.R.S, T.I.M.E.L.A.P.S.E, and C.O.N.V.E.R.S.A.T.I.O.N.S, he created surprising, eclectic, and experimental albums. In September 2026, his new album ‘Rhagium Inquisitor’ will be released. This title refers to the grey longhorn beetle, a small beetle that lives under bark layers of dead coniferous trees and stands as a symbol for the layered sound world. The sound of ‘Raghium Inquisitor’ is inspired by Scandinavian and Breton folk music and the hunting horn tradition as well as by electronic music and dance influences. Traditional instruments such as violin and mandolin meet the sounds of rock, modern chamber music, and electronics. Synths and sequencers form an integral part of the layered and immersive sound universe.
