A Sunday afternoon like you don't know them often! How do we deal with boundaries? Do we try to push them, to bypass them? Do they give us peace or rather frustration? Are they a source of curiosity? Do the boundaries lie within ourselves or rather with another? How do cities limit us? What boundaries does nature impose on us? And how do we clash with each other's boundaries? We give such questions a musical twist in Borderless. Let yourself be carried away across the boundaries. Local bands and musicians perform in Bar Stam. Start the weekend right! Autumn 2026: fri 11/09: Blue Giants - dark blue melodies Blue Giants is a three-piece alternative band from Antwerp consisting of Matthias Van den Broeck (guitar), Jasmin Branders (bass guitar), and Io Lemmens (vocals & keys). Bass and guitar converse with each other and look for music that reinforces the lyrics. Their music is influenced by artists like Daughter, Radiohead, Portishead, and The XX. fri 09/10: Zigghurath - ambient sound journey Zigghurath is the alter ego of Jolan Chen. This project originated around 2018 from the traces of various live bands (Grown Below, Lighthousing). Inspired by nature and spiritual experiences, introspective songs were created that manifested themselves in self-meditation and consciousness. This led to various experiments within the sound spectrum. A collection of compositions emerged that gave the project depth and opened it up more to the outside world. It emphasizes the existential and encourages listeners to participate in a musical journey that lays bare the inner soul. fri 13/11: Dexelle - addictive indie pop Dexelle is the band around Nicolas Dexelle. They bring unique, colorful pop with sturdy guitars. Thanks to a combination of blistering grooves, gleaming synthesizers, and dreamy vocals, the group creates a completely unique universe. Their debut record will be released next year, and they are coming to try it out in prime in Borgerhout. For fans of Tame Impala, Bowie, Suede… fri 11/12: Isak - no ordinary freak folk De Antwerpse vocalist and songwriter isak does not bring ordinary freak folk. Her songs balance between catchy melodies, trappy rhythms, parlando vocal lines, fragility, and swag. The lyrics are simultaneously absurd and recognizable, fueled by everyday scenes and a vivid memory. For listeners of Soko, Aldous Harding, Joanna Newsom, CocoRosie.Mon 2 Nov · 20:00't Werkhuys · AntwerpUntil 11 DecFree Pictures from HomeMusicPictures from HomeEen Europese first in our 52nd play season in our cozy Noordteater in AntwerpMon 2 Nov · 20:00Noordteater · AntwerpUntil 13 Novfrom €1 BabelFable - Stories in all languagesMusicBabelFable - Stories in all languagesDiscover stories in all languages in the storytelling theater. Money is the elephant in the room that we are going to discuss on November 2. What is your relationship to money? When do you have too much of it? Or not enough? And what consequences does that have for your life? And by the way, how much is actually in your bank account right now? Theater maker and comedian Johan Petit, together with the regular Monday Evening Team, tackles this theme, the systems in which we live, and their pay slips. Egon Schoelynck comes with his one-man show Middle Class Baby Punk to really highlight this 'elephant' and Hanna Peeters makes a video art work about it. All of this, of course, with a fresh bowl of soup, on an ordinary yet very 'rich' Monday evening.Mon 2 Nov · 20:00–21:00De Studio · Antwerpfrom €9

For over a century now, this orchestra has been the sound of the Czech Republic, and it is undoubtedly one of the world’s top orchestras. Under the baton of Semyon Bychkov, one of Europe’s most respected conductors, this identity feels stronger than ever. His recent appointment at the Opéra de Paris and the international acclaim for his award-winning recordings highlight his status as a leading conductor. The collaboration with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra - acclaimed, internationally celebrated and recently extended to 2028 - feels completely natural: here, music truly comes home. In this musical synergy, Behzod Abduraimov takes to the stage with Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3, and with this monumental work, he elevates the evening to new heights. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the 26-year-old Dutch internet star returns to Belgium with his brand new live show: ‘JOB & Friends’, but this time in the Lotto Arena. Even in the Netherlands, where his success story began, JOB had never played such a large show of his own. ‘JOB & Friends’ promises a spectacular, interactive show full of humor, music, and surprises - this time in the company of some famous friends from the online and musical world. ‘JOB & Friends’ will be a real feel-good experience where young (and older) fans can experience both JOB and their other favorite online heroes up close. What started as a hobby of a fourteen-year-old in his bedroom in the Netherlands grew into a true phenomenon. JOB has been building his YouTube career for years and quickly became famous for his tutorials around games like Roblox and Minecraft, but also for various challenges that especially appeal to young people. Last year alone, he dropped more than 500 videos, good for over 300 million views and seven times in YouTube Trending. Since 2024, he has also been focusing on music: his debut single ‘Nostalgie’ was streamed millions of times, successors such as ‘Per Ongeluk Verliefd’, ‘Perfecte Plaatje’, ‘Sterrenbeeld’, and ‘Zwembad’ confirmed his talent. Job shows that he can also reach a new audience as an artist. Ten years after the start of his online adventures, JOB is in Antwerp on the largest stage of his career to date with his own show - something he says he “Never dared to dream”. That his biggest show to date is taking place not in the Netherlands, but in Belgium, makes it all the more special for him.Sat 7 Nov · 15:00–16:30Lotto Arena · Antwerp concert of Sviatoslav VakarchukMusicconcert of Sviatoslav VakarchukJust you, him, and the music that resonates in the hearts of millions. There, he stopped at a pavilion in front of the gigantic relief The Human Passions by Jef Lambeaux.Among the stone bodies, he also recognized himself. The busker who went from café to café singing songs by, among others, Zangeres Zonder Naam. The man who later sang about his own desires, without shame. And also the darker sides of others – with great compassion, but not without humor.Back home, he picked up pen and guitar and wrote, with a sinister smile on his lips: “Life is a grim horror… We are all in the same boat: everyone, rich or poor, we all die.”But in the meantime, there is the Emperor of the chanson, comforting and unflappable, to make everything right.Soon the silver Cadillac will be speeding again along Belgian and Dutch roads. In its trunk lies a new album: The Pavilion of Human Passions. But also old hits, a few murder ballads, and his versions of songs by Loudon Wainwright III, David McWilliams, and Zangeres Zonder Naam. There is no concept for the show. Or perhaps there is. The concept is called Guido. So expect the unexpected. But also a veteran who still has it. Someone who sings with a sweet, familiar voice, shaped by nights, desires, and a love that does not fade. At De Roma, Guido performs with his full band.Sat 7 Nov · 20:00–22:00De Roma · Antwerpfrom €7 Christoff sings Tura XXLMusicChristoff sings Tura XXLOn Sunday, November 8, 2026, Christoff celebrates a new musical milestone, because then the singer will be in the Lotto Arena with Christoff Zingt Tura XXL. After the huge success of the concert series Christoff zingt Tura and Christoff zingt Tura 2, this impressive XXL tribute to Will Tura in the Lotto Arena follows as the ultimate apotheosis. Almost day for day two years after his first own concert ever in the Lotto Arena (November 9, 2024 - Christoff 3.0 XXL), Christoff is therefore back on the stage of the Antwerp arena. With the approval of the master himself, Christoff brings the beautiful and rich oeuvre of the ‘Emperor of the Flemish song’. All the biggest and most famous Tura hits such as Hoop doet leven, Ik mis je zo, Mooi het leven is mooi, De Noorderwind, El Bandido, Vergeet Barbara, and Een huisje in Montmartre pass_ the revue. All this supported by Christoff’s rock-solid live band and backing vocals, and brought with the deepest respect for his teacher and source of inspiration. Tickets for Christoff zingt Tura XXL are available from Monday, October 27 at 9 AM via www.christoff.be and www.ticketkopen.eu On September 30, 2023, Christoff - in the presence and under the approving eye of Will - premiered with his musical tribute Christoff zingt Tura. The audience in a filled-to-the-last-seat Capitole Gent enjoyed, rewarded the East Flemish singer afterwards with a standing ovation lasting minutes, but the ultimate and most valuable compliment for Christoff followed when Will Tura himself stood up and enthusiastically showed his appreciation. After the successful kick-off in Ghent, Christoff started a sold-out concert series of Christoff zingt Tura, which was followed this autumn by Christoff zingt Tura 2. On November 10, 2025, Christoff concludes these concerts in a packed Concertgebouw Brugge. Christoff zingt Tura XXL will be the climax of Christoff’s tribute concerts to the 'Emperor of the Flemish song'. A collection of the best from Christoff zingt Tura and Christoff zingt Tura 2 with all the biggest and most famous hits of Will Tura. Of course, Christoff’s personal favorites from Will’s beautiful oeuvre cannot be missing. So on November 10, the conclusion of Christoff zingt Tura 2 in Bruges follows first, later that month there is also the release of Christoff’s new book 'Teken van Leven', at the beginning of December he starts his beloved series of 21 Christmas concerts, and the next big project is already ready: a return to the Lotto Arena and that with an XXL tribute to Will Tura.Sun 8 Nov · 15:00–17:00Lotto Arena · Antwerp Son MieuxMusicSon MieuxBrace yourself for an evening full of irresistible grooves and pure live energy, as Son Mieux gets ready to conquer Antwerp.Sun 8 Nov · 19:30–22:30Trix Antwerpenfrom €28

How does a year feel, captured in music and words? On November 4, the Arenberg De Seizoenen premieres: a poetic, adventurous concert performance in which music, poetry, and performance melt together into one shared theatrical experience. Pianiste Marie François starts from De Seizoenen van Pjotr Iljitsj Tchaikovsky, an iconic piano cycle that musically and poetically depicted every month of the year 150 years ago, and gives the work a contemporary breath together with VONK & Zonen. What emerges is not a traditional concert, but a theatrical ritual about time, repetition, and transience. A year unfolds: from the cautious awakening of spring to the stillness of winter. Joachim himself set up his own projects HRNS (electronic-ambient) and Blackdive (jazzy lo-fi), and he is a key figure in the famous improvisation sessions at the Antwerpse Café Des Arts. With his diverse collaborations and international tours, it is no surprise that the musician is interested in a cross-pollination of genres and musical backgrounds. Now, Joachim’s interest lies in the interaction between the layered richness of the studio and the unpredictability of live performances. Joachim Saerens is bringing the new project The Ark of Joa to Rataplan for the first time, after a number of residencies. With this project The Ark of Joa, Joachim explores how live sound processing can influence a performance. It is the fruit of an in-depth artistic research into ‘band intuition’: how can electronics breathe along with a group of musicians, instead of forcing them into a rigid corset of metronomes and backing tracks? Here, Joachim presents, together with Dré Pallemaerts, Dries Laheye, Fre Madou, and Eric Thielemans, a universe in which live processing acts as an extra musician. The band and the technology flow seamlessly into each other: Joachim himself controls the live electronics from behind his keyboards, while the bassists help mold the effects and the drummers unleash sounds. In this way, the entire ensemble collectively takes control of the technology. Sounds react in real time to what is happening on stage; they listen, answer, and create a fluid landscape in which jazz, IDM, and alternative pop find each other. Expect a concert in which time stretches and shrinks, where pulse and transparency are central, and where the human core always remains audible amidst an impressive wall of sound.
