Rimbaud’s ghost pays visits to various revolutionary and queer figures—Emma Goldman, David Wojnarowicz, and Marsha P. Johnson, among others—offering an exhilarating blend of the experimental and the political, delivering an intersectional critique of colonialism, sexism, racism, and transphobia… As wild as it is necessary.Mon 2 Nov · 20:30Beursschouwburg · Brusselsfrom €10
CinemaNo Rest For The Wicked - Brief SomebodiesIt's 1862 on the Faroe Islands, and Baldur lives in a remote fishing community. His life is turned upside down when a rugged whaler arrives, awakening an unquenched desire in him. When tragedy strikes the desolate shores, their forbidden passion unleashes unsettling forces. For they refuse to let their love be buried; they will fight to the death - and even beyond.
No Rest for the Wicked is deliciously gothic, brilliantly blending gay romance, period drama, and vampire story to create a genre film that reinvents the rules.

MusicARLO PARKSArlo Parks goes back on tour with the ‘Desire Tour'! The London singer, producer, and poet will stop over in Belgium, on Tuesday, November 3 at Cirque Royal de Bruxelles. While her new album ‘Ambiguous Desire' will be released on April 3, this concert is an unmissable appointment to experience live the most vulnerable, confident, and euphoric songs that Arlo Parks has written to date.
Thanks to her distinctive mix of raw lyrics and striking vocal melodies, Arlo Parks was propelled to the rank of « voice of her generation » upon the release of her first album ‘Collapsed in Sunbeams' in 2021. The same year, she won a Mercury Music Prize, established herself as « Breakthrough Artist » at the Brit Awards, and secured nominations at the Grammy Awards and Ivor Novello Awards. In 2022, she performed opening acts for Billie Eilish and Harry Styles and was invited to play on the stages of the prestigious Coachella and Glastonbury. Her second album, ‘My Soft Machine', on which appears a collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers, led her to continue performing around the world, including a acclaimed concert at Ancienne Belgique in 2023. At the beginning of April, Arlo Parks will unveil her highly anticipated third album, ‘Ambiguous Desire'. Drawing from a mosaic of influences, from the queer hedonism of Paradise Garage de New York to the nocturnal and melancholic rhythms of the British The Streets and Burial, passing through the electronic and sparkling catharsis of LCD Soundsystem and the house grooves of Theo Parrish, ‘Ambiguous Desire' shows Arlo Parks at her peak in terms of confidence and experimentation. Soundtrack of an unbridled self-expression, this album is a work full of joie de vivre, signed by one of the freest voices of the music scene. Absolutely to be discovered live on November 3 at Cirque Royal!

MusicLesbian Bed Death & Subatomic StrangersLesbian Bed Death
⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻
Lesbian Bed Death is a gothic punk rock band from Verenigd Koninkrijk. With an extensive discography and horror-themed music videos, Lesbian Bed Death combines gothic punk with metal for an energetic live show that music critics have described as ‘a female Alice Cooper, a mix of The Misfits and Creeper’.
Their theatrical stage show includes custom-made medusa effects, a custom microphone stand in the shape of a skeleton snake, and horror backdrops.
Lesbian Bed Death has toured extensively through Verenigd Koninkrijk and parts of Europe, with a mix of their own headline tours and support acts for bands like The Birthday Massacre and Aurelio Voltaire during their recent UK tours. In addition, Lesbian Bed Death has played at numerous independent music festivals, such as Whitby Goth Weekend, Rockmantic, Breaking Bands (as headliner), and Call Of The Wild.
Lesbian Bed death makes their long-awaited debut in Belgium and what better place than Snuffel Hostel in Bruges…
Subatomic Strangers
⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻
Subatomic Strangers is an alternative rock band with a firm 80s sound. In recent years, they have proven to conquer many a stage effortlessly. With floating guitar riffs, tight bass lines, and groovy drums, they open a gate to another dimension.
After the release of their album ‘Special Satellite’ in 2022, things went fast. They were the support act for Bazart and Oscar And The Wolf at the Sportpaleis. Two UK tours followed, as well as a show in Hamburg. In 2025, they played at quite a few festivals, including Grensrock, where they shared the bill with Compact Disk Dummies and De Mens.
At the end of 2025, their second album ‘Resuwrecked’ was released, with an accompanying tour through Belgium and the Netherlands. In 2026, it is the turn of other countries, including France and the UK.
Over the years, there have been changes in the band. Subatomic Strangers now consists of Sharon Braye (singer), Nicholas Vermeersch (guitarist), Jonas Vanelstlande (bassist), and their newest member, Mathijs Vrielynck (drummer).Fri 6 Nov · 20:30–23:00De Snuffel · BrugesFree

CinemaMaspalomas - director: Aitor Arregi & Jose Mari GoenagaRegisseurs Aitor Arregi and José Mari Goenaga made a tender and emotional portrait of an older homosexual man with 'Maspalomas'. A film that begins scorching hot, but feels refreshing afterwards.
The 76-year-old Vicente has been leading a carefree life for many years as an openly homosexual man in touristic Maspalomas on Gran Canaria. Everything changes when he suffers a stroke and is forced to return to San Sebastián. In the conservative rehabilitation center where he ends up, Vicente finds himself forced to give up everything he has fought so hard for.
A tender, emotional, and intimate character study full of humor and warmth about an older queer character. A film that gives pause for thought about the vulnerability and limitation of acquired rights. Can old age or physical setbacks push you back into the closet? What if you lose not only your independence, but also your identity and freedom to be carefree who you are? Acteur José Ramón Soroiz rightly won the Goya for Beste Hoofdrol for his wonderful performance, which brought to life not only his character's loss and uncertainty, but also the humor, strength, and perseverance of a man facing the hardest journey of his life: his rehabilitation.

CinemaThe LibrariansIn 2021, Matt Krause, a member of Congress from Texas, distributed a list of 850 books that he claimed were harmful to young readers. The list appeared to be largely focused on queer themes and race issues. Shortly after, the governor of Texas demanded the immediate removal of all these books from school libraries – and other states quickly followed. The result: a terrifying culture war, in which librarians appear to be the last line of defense. Conservative America's culture war against diversity is also being fought in school libraries. The documentary 'The Librarians', which premiered at Sundance, brings (former) library employees and sympathizers out of the shadows and before the camera in their joint struggle against book banning. A hallucinatory portrait of a modern witch hunt, and an urgent warning against censorship and blind obedience. Using archival footage and new testimonies, Oscar-nominated director Kim A. Snyder ('Death By Numbers') exposes how censorship has become part of a broader political campaign to take over control of school boards.Tue 10 Nov · 17:00–21:00Cultuurcentrum Zwaneberg · Heist-op-den-BergFree
MusicComing home - Sam BettensPerhaps it was his 15-year stay in East Tennessee, including several years as a full-time firefighter, that made this transition from alternative rock to Americana so effortless. He is also still one half of K's Choice, the band with which he has been traveling the world with his brother since he was nineteen. With international hits like 'Not an Addict' and 'Believe', K's Choice quickly established itself at the top of the international alternative rock scene. TheatreDirk DraulansThe best-known biologist of the country takes you through the animal and plant kingdom and shows how versatile sexuality is in nature. From transsexual clownfish to lesbian albatrosses: a surprising and enlightening lecture about diversity in nature and human.
In collaboration with NGZ
About hetero-, bi-, homo-, trans-, inter- and other sexuality in the animal kingdom (humans included).
‘Gender does not exist.’ ‘Transsexuality is unnatural.’ Many people have the tendency to put everything in boxes with sharply defined boundaries. But nature does not work like that. It experiments and bets on variation.
Bioloog Dirk Draulans takes you on a wandering trip through the animal kingdom (humans included) to explore sexual diversity. He tells about transsexual clownfish, lesbian albatrosses, homosexual gorillas, and the tomboys of our moles. And he describes the sexual diversity in our own species. His conclusion: gender does exist!
